About 12 of us show up to fish and each time we go to the White River we stay at White Hole Resort. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The large cabin we used was very clean and tidy. Boats worked perfectly. We’ll be back.
Not worth the price. When we arrived we were given the key and confirmed fishing guide for morning. No name given for guide, no details about resort, no friendly smile. My husband commented that the owners must be worn out from season and ready to be done with guests. We stayed in Cabin 3, when entering cabin we were welcomed by dead flies on floors, 20 on kitchen and living room and more on bedroom floors. Bath had a 29" square shower, smaller then our RV shower. Bathroom floor was filthy. Dropped wash cloth and it came up dark gray. Wiped and it was black. Cabin was good size, but make sure to wear your shoes the whole time you stay. We covered the couch with blanket before setting on it. You may think I am picky and I should expect this from cabin, however we stay in cabins while visiting Flippin and Bull Shoals and have never had a dirty cabin. Be assured there are better, Patrick's and Gaston's to name a couple. It does have a very nice dock and fishing area.…
The location is secluded and away from the hustle and bustle. The cabins are clean, but don't expect any frills. The grounds were nicely maintained and the wildlife is abundant. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed last min at this location and it was right on the water. The location was perfect and every one had a very good time. It is not upscale or 4 star hotel BUT it was reminiscent of better days when family took road trips and stayed in quant off the beaten track with no TV or video games and spent time enjoying each others company.
This is my third trip to the White Hole. The facilities are well maintained. The cabins are clean, but not fancy. Our group has always done our own cooking so I cannot comment on the food. The boat are kept in good safe running order. The onsite tackle shop is small but they do carry the lures that work there. This is a good location that provides a lot of fishable water when the dam is not generating much. If you don't rent a boat there is decent fishing from the bank. Be aware there is considerable water level change during the day. The owners are friendly.
