Our host Lily was such a joy! The guest house was unexpectedly spacious and full of amenities. The best part was the breakfast hamper which was full of delicious goodies. The space is a little far off the main road but a quick walk to the water and shops, well worth the added steps.
Lily was lovely and greeted us with all the information we needed. Our room was pristinely clean, decorated lovely. Had tea & coffee making facilities and a very comfy bed. Just a short walk into town & parking a bonus. Lily gave us a fantastic breakfast hamper which was delicious and very thoughtful I would recommend staying here in a heartbeat.
Superb King size suite with its own entrance, spotlessly clean and great attention to detail with coffee machine, champagne glasses, fresh milk and OS maps if you’re wanting to explore the local areas. Fab location too with just a 10 minute walk into the centre of Marlow. What sets it apart from the usual Hotels/Guest Houses is the warmest of welcome from the owner Lily who was so endearing and helpful and lovely!
We stayed for two nights in this lovely comfortable B&B which is perfectly located for access to local restaurants and river. It has its own entrance separate from the main house and is tastefully furnished throughout with good quality linen & towels. There are tea & coffee making facilities together with a microwave, small fridge & Nespresso Coffee maker. The B&B now has only one King Suite with a separate seating room which can convert to accommodate an extra 2 people with an additional bathroom if required. As well as a warm & friendly welcome Lily provided a super breakfast basket each morning. We would definitely stay again and are very happy to recommend Glade End to anyone visiting Marlow.
Overnight stay whilst visiting the Hands & Flowers. Good location short walk from the High Street with off street parking. Rooms at front are on the main road so expect so traffic noise but not enough to trouble us. We paid a little extra for the Executive King which was a lovely large room, comfortable bed with quality bedding and nice little touches. Clean and nicely decorated throughout. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
We had two nights here & it was well placed for a short walk into town. There was off road parking, & an easy check in arrangement using a key code sent to us prior to our arrival. The place was bright & clean, & the room & bed was very comfortable. Tea, coffee, milk & biscuits were a lovely touch, as was the complementary shampoo and shower gel sachets. The breakfasts were really good, with fruits, yogurt, cereals etc plus a choice of cooked breakfasts, toast & preserves. The staff were really lovely. Bena was so lovely and helpful & as it was my Birthday gave me chocolate & chilled my champagne! Nicole was really nice too. Would stay here again if in the area. Thanks for a great stay.
I would have scored Glade End Guesthouse higher had the wifi worked in the rooms—we had to go into a small hallway to get good reception. However, we weren’t there to spend our time on the computer and everything else was great. A big part of that is Lily, who as a host is extremely warm, engaging and helpful. We were in the house, and our room was spacious, very clean and the bed comfortable. There is a nearby street but we were not bothered by any noise. A treat was that there were cotton bathrobes which were quite cosy on a rainy day. The breakfast was excellent—a great place to stay.
Stayed here for one night in September 2019. As we were here for a meal at the hand and flowers. Excellent check in system with the door code and key in a personal envelope. We stayed in an ‘Executive Double’. Room was small, nice decor but dusty and cobwebs from the room corners. Was also very very noisy as the guest house is pretty much on a busy main road. Good shower but a very noisy water pump system that sounded like a pneumatic drill starting up. It’s about 5-10 minute walk into the centre of Marlow, so locational was really good. Breakfast is very good and the lady on breakfast duty was very polite and friendly. For me, this b&b is ok but is overpriced. It was £117 including breakfast for basically a very small double . Yes, it’s Marlow but for me I’ve stayed in better value b&b’s around the London area for under £100 per night.…
Just stayed at a really good bed and breakfast with really good beds and really good breakfast. Lovely rooms well maintained with accommodating staff just a short walk from centre of Marlow highly recommend
The hotel is clean. The bathroom is excellentexcellent. Very good breakfast. The area is quiet and relaxing. Kind and polite staff. The supply what you need ( fan, extra blankets, extra pillows, hair dryer...)
