I loved waking up to a breakfast buffet served in a quaint garden! This was one of my favorite places to eat breakfast where I as a gluten and dairy intolerant individual could enjoy so many things on offer. They offered gluten free bread and made upon request oat milk for my coffee! The kids were also pleased with so... More

Hello, Thank you for your kind response and nice review on tripadvisor. So glad to hear that you found, despite your intolerance to gluten, pleanty of alternatives on the breakfast buffet. We hope that we will have the opportunity to welcome you back to us again whenever you are travelling this way next time. Kind Regards Karin More

We stayed in Room 403 which had french doors out to our private balcony overlooking the lake--all for the price of about $120! This place was the find of a life time. Loved the village, running along the lake was great--such a wonderful respite from Stockholm, Berlin and Copenhagen. Would definitely return. Oh, and the breakfast was sensational.

Very rustic monastry style, like a castle. Sauna and TV room. Sigtuna village nearby with historical sites, church ruins more than four, Near lake Mälaren, calm and fresh environment, no train connections.

Built over 100 years ago, this is an experience to cherish. A great stay, perfect location, , efficient staff, spectacular grounds and trails, clean room, comfortable beds, and a breakfast spread to suit a monarch.

Usually when we’re travelling and need to stay by an airport, we’re looking at price and practicality only. Sure, we don’t want to stay in a dump, but we’re not expecting to be wowed by our accommodations, or even the area around it. Well Sigtunastiftelsen Hotell & Konferens (and Sigtuna the town) did just that, and even though it was... More

This hotel is walking distance from the old town of Sigtuna and the lake and reasonably priced all things considered. There are no TVs in the room but free wifi is available with a code from reception and the breakfast buffet was extensive with good selection of cereals, juices, fruit, cold meats and cheese. No hot food except for boiled... More

Peacefull and quite, with beautiful architecture and views. Loved the chappel with the musical instruments. There are bicycles that can be borrowed to look around town. The famous boardwalk is only 10 min away.

Reasonably priced inn, located slightly vest in town. Genuinely friendly staff, and a great history create a wonderful setting for the hotel. Rooms are basic( no TV) but comfortable and charming ( how often do you wake up and listen to the radio these days). If you arrive without a car be prepared for a bit of a hike to... More

Breakfast is simply wonderful. So many choices and fresh ingredients. Rooms, however, are nothing special. Almost hostel-like. But if you have a chance to walk around the area, you will find out why so many people find the place simply charming.

This Sigtuna establishment is not what you will expect on your first visit. At least I was surprised with the atmosphere, peaceful and relaxing place outside time, worry or anything distracting. I have stayed there a couple of times, also with my spouse and baby daughter. Will stay there again, can recommend to anyone.
