We didn't stay in the hotel but had eaten the menu of the day here before and knew that it was really great food and good value. It did not disappoint the three courses were all very tasty and presented beautifully the care taken by the young chef to present the food was great to see. The wine was very... More

My wife and I were visiting la Orotava and passed this hotel on the way to the Casa de los Balcones. We returned later in the afternoon to eat. We chose from the menú del día. The potato salad and melon and lime soup (yes!) we had for starters were fabulous as were the mains of whitefish and pork tenderloin.... More

What a gorgeous place in the heart of Orotava, oldy worldy , traditional Canarian wooden floors, just charming. As a very reasonably priced hotel I found it odd that the restaurant is quite high end, Michelin stars actually. Not cheap but extremely nice as you would imagine. Chilled out in the bar afterwards, all in all a fantastic trip.

An easy place to find in La Orotava, in the backstreets. We wanted to have a comfortable, quiet meal, and we weren't disappointed. We didn't book - although it's only small and I would recommend it. The receptionist also seemed to be the waiter and "rush-about-man" but he squeezed us in and we have a lovely meal. A tad expensive... More

Small beautiful hotel with excellent restaurant, reservations are a must for dinner. I had room 105 with large private terrace, a nice surprise. The hotel is a lovely colonial hotel with enclosed atrium, wood and tiling. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Great location. Parking is challenging in town.

Lovely hotel friendly. The restaurant was small and the food was good. We were in the attic room 301 which did not have adequate heating for this time of year. Mount Tiede had snow and the road leading up was closed.

My wife and I stayed here two nights. It really was excellent value. We had a good size room with charming furniture. It was spotlessly clean. La Orotava is a lovely town and this hotel has a similar charm. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food, wine and... More

What a building! And this in such a lovely colonial town. There are from lots of places in town great views over the ocean and the green valley. Ou room was somewhat a surprise though, it only had one really small window hidden in a thick wall. It reminded us of an cloister cell. They don't show this room on... More
