I stayed at the hotel on 1st November . It is in one of the main streets very near the ferry port - about 4 minutes walk most of it within the port itself. The old quarter is just around the corner from the hotel where I found a lively bar/eatery for a nice pizza. The crowd is very much... More

My wife and I were en route from Ronda to Cadiz and at the last minute decided we would like to day trip from Tarifa the following day. Trusting a reference in Rick Steve's book on Spain we phoned to reserve a room at this Hostal. We were tired and hungry and the usual warning signals went unheeded by yours... More

The room was nice enough and very clean, the shower was lovely. Lots of nice soft towels though my wife had difficulty reaching them and the coat hangers as they are quite high up. Television, air-con, toiletries. But only one small bottle of complimentary water for two people for a three night stay ? We later discovered there are tea... More

Right across the street from the ferry to Tangier. Which was why we were in Tarifa. Nice beach town and you are right in the heart of the commercial area. Completely safe and clean. Lots of dining options within steps of the door or walk around the corner to find even more restaurants and bars. Parking a rental car is... More

It is close to the ferry with beautiful balcony views. The location is great. It is small and no elevator. We were there for 2 nights and loved it. TV is too small. The plaza below is nice and many restaurants nearby.

Hostel Alameda is right across the start from the ferry to Morocco. The plaza in front is a playground for children. The restaurant is right there. More restaurants are near by. They do not serve breakfast but we found an excellent pastry shop a couple of blocks away with a variety of breakfast choices. There is no elevator. We were... More

We choose this hostel because it was the closest place to the ferry to Morocco (the ferry entrance is only about 300 feet away.) Very nice, very clean, very friendly, very convenient and very reasonable. The restaurant is only so-so.

Spent 3 nights in Tarifa. This hostal was well located as it's near the port if you are going to Morocco. Also close to restaurants and shopping and the beach promenade. The staff was great in suggesting places to eat (Los Melli). Rooms were adequate and quiet considering the room faced out onto the plaza.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. The room looked just like pictures and was clean and comfortable. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Alameda is in a great location. Walking distance to the port, beaches and tapas bars. I would stay here again when in Tarifa.

Very nice hotel with good desk staff. Rooms in photos of hotel are much larger than the 3 rooms our party had. Rooms clean. Not much view from hotel room. Across street from ferry terminal and the castle and close to several restaurants. Parking available a few blocks away.
