We usually stay in La Mirador in Tarifa but it was closed so we tried the Hostal Tark. They had a double room with a small balcony overlooking the front and views of the sea. We checked in and paid the bill. The standard of the room was adequate, the bathroom was fine and the bed was quite comfortable. The... More

I had an unexpected stay in Tarifa and I had to find a hotel the very same night. As everything was fully booked except Tarik it was an easy choice. It's a no-frills place but it's clean and has a good location. The rooms on the ground floor are noisy but I have no particular complaints. The room was 125€... More

I was on a trip through Intrepid travel when I stayed here and got THE WORST case of bedbugs ever! The hostal blamed the Moroccans who had stayed there the night before, but I know that this place was infested beforehand because we found DEAD bedbugs in both my room and my guide's room next door (indication that this was... I stayed here 3 nights along with 30 of my students on a school trip. Hostal Tarik is clean and basic. The owner who lives on-site was friendly and helpful. Hostal Tarik is an easy 7 minute walk from the historic center and two short block from the main street. It's one block from the large grocery store and the... More

The rooms bathroom were clean, the beds were fine, tv, had an AC, definitely need a bigger water heater, so if you tired to take a shower in the am, you would not get hot water. It is right downtown Tarifa, and within walking distance of the beach and a store, the ferries to Tangiers, etc. The downside, the noisy... More

In the unattractive part of Tarife Spain this seems a popular spot near the beach till u try to sleep. A main road with a building site opposite.Constant traffic garbage trucks and deliveries. No reception at all at night till 9 am. Clean but air con not working in 30 degrees plus.

I stayed in this hostel on an intrepid trip and worst hostel ever. Small rooms, unfriendly owner, breakfast was to be included but was not available. Workmen started renovations early in morning as installing a lift. Room was 2 flights of stairs up and very steep stairs. Owner upset and rude that we didn't book our day trip to morocco... More
