Great hotel in a wonderful little coastal town. We had the top floor and roof top patio. The views from there were amazing! The room itself was spacious. Our room had a little kitchenette in it with a small fridge. The bathroom was a good size as well. Be aware that there is a club in the square in front of the hotel that plays music until the wee hours. Our host instructed us to be sure to close the metal shutters along with the glass doors at night. it helped keep the music to a very low sound. It didn't bother my wife and I, but our friend staying next to our room heard it all night.

This time I stayed on the first floor, whereas previously I stayed on the top floor. The construction of the building is such is that there is absolutely no insulation between the floors. In fact, as I look up, I see the floorboards of the room above. Consequently you hear every footstep thundering overhead and even occupants urinating in their bathroom. Ugh! So do take earplugs, not for any external noise as mentioned in other reviews, but internal noise. Otherwise it is a lovely place to stay and kept immaculately clean by the very hardworking cleaning lady.

What a nice little hotel in the heart of Tarifa; we had a one bedroom suite with roof top terrace. The suite was clean and nicely decorated the bedroom was on the second floor accessed via a spiral staircase. We would have liked more room for our luggage on the main floor as taking up to second floor would have been tuff. The owner was terrific and helped us immensely. Hotel was located in the old town in a small square that had to restaurants and nice sitting area. There are no cars except for locals so you need to walk with your luggage on cobbled streets for about 10 minutes after taxi lets you off. We needed to have some laundry done which was not problem and cost $ 20 euros which was more than reasonable. Great place to stay in this very nice town.

The location is excellent and the room was clean and had air conditioning. The rooms are cleaned daily and the beds have mosquitoe nets. The staff were friendly and helped with my case but had no English. I was not able to use the balcony at all during my stay as could not open the skylight. I contacted the reception but no one spoke English so could not help. The reception is manned between 10am and 2pm only. If you need to store any luggage this is only available until 2pm. The square below is very noisy at night so this was an issue. Music went on until 3am during a Tuesday night. Apparently it is much worse at the weekends as the noise can go until 7am. Ear plugs are a must but wouldn’t recommend it at weekends.

I can’t say enough good things about this quaint hotel. Eva, the manager, is so kind and accommodating. The hotel overlooks a lively square with several restaurants and is a central location within old town. We look forward to visiting again!
