I have been coming to Los Arcos for the past 11 years and still love it. I was lucky to return here after a 2 year break because of Covid restrictions and boy did I feel like I was home again. We were allocated one of our favourite superior rooms, our bed was so comfortable and large that we had the best sleep we have had in a long time, so quiet and peaceful. Room was spacious with everything we needed including a large terrace with sunbeds so spent most days on the terrace. Yes there is a kettle and no cups, but so what, we just popped down to the restaurant first thing to bring a cup of coffee back to the room before we went to breakfast. When we came previously, breakfast was in the bar area which was small and squashed, at least it is spread out in the outdoor conservatory area which was nice. Choice was bacon and scrambled eggs which was adequate for me with some yogurt and fruit to finish plus juice and coffee. We enjoyed happy hour most evenings in the bar before going out for dinner, just a shame it is so quiet in the bar, years ago they used to have entertainment and the bar was packed, maybe they should look to do that again. It was a shame to see they didn't do bar snacks anymore, so they are losing money. I have always suggested to the hotel management they should have a drink service by the pool but that has never happened. It could be a little gold mine if management wanted to do that. We dined in the restaurant on the last night which was very nice and I recommend! But overall, I love this place, it's quiet, the staff are super friendly and its a little way out of town but an enjoyable walk in if you enjoy walking. We also discovered a lovely place for dinner across the road which I have never seen before, so go explore! Will I return? Most definitely i plan to be back next year!!!!

We have visited before and always had a fantastic stay But this visit not same standard Breakfast very poor very limited and pork products not separated from other food and in agreement with other guests the pastries and bread very generic packaged supermarket products Room lovely but no tea or coffee or water supplied and as for toiletries just a generic blue liquid Disappointing as no pool service available so in order to get a drink needed to pack up to go to cafe No tapas any more really disappointing and the restaurant itself has dropped way below its previous standard Some of the bar staff were obviously new and a little lost but the heat so intense I think difficult to cope but on a whole always cheerful Any problems maintenance or at reception desk dealt with immediately many thanks to Victoria and the maintenance man and a lovely Spanish lady in the bar and restaurant area so kind and considerate We like the hotel very much and would not hesitate to return it is spotlessly clean throughout but the cafe restaurant and pool area need improvement and please realise we need our tea and coffee in our rooms Coffee machine and water dispenser if kept open would have helped to alleviate the problem and it was good to be able to go into breakfast until 11am . But for us who like to relax in our room before going out and about a cup of coffee or tea and bottled water In the room is expected not a trip to supermarket With a few improvements this hotel has the potential to be one of the best hotels in Nerja

This was my second visit to Los Arcos, my husbands first. Unfortunately it wasn’t as good as my previous visit. The room was spacious, however the bath is a lovely touch but right in front of a plug socket. Rooms cleaned every day and no issues with this. Room facilities poor, no tea or coffee even though we had a kettle and no bottled water. We were told when this was queried at reception that we could get it from the machine throughout the day, Unfortunatly the machine was covered and the coffee machine was unplugged. Breakfast was poor, very little variety. Previously you could order various eggs, this time it was repetitive scrambled egg and cooked option bacon and sausage( the utensils for these items weren’t separate either). Pool lovely but not being able to bring snacks up and no actual pool service is disappointing. The hotel is a lovely clean hotel but they need to make some improvements to bring it back to the standard it was previously at! It has all the elements of a good hotel however there are now little things that Unfortunatly have made us look elsewhere for October.

My main issue with this stay was the breakfasts. It was just awful. The choice was incredibly limited. Everything baked was packaged and tasteless. The only cooked option were scrambled egg or bacon. I informed the hotel of my complaint and being vegetarian and yet they were incredibly rude and didn't care at all The level of customer service was horrendous. I tried a piece of dry toast one day and when I opened the butter it was mouldy. The receptionist insisted on opening other butters and basically insinuated I was lying. The towels in the room were so small I would consider them more hand towels and were not changed at all for the 4 night stay! The fridge in the room was incredibly loud (especially when trying to sleep). It was also warm too and therefore couldn't even keep water inside it. Hotel said this was normal as it isn't a fridge just a minibar. The TV did not work at all in the room. The 'free toiletries' provided is one blue liquid in the shower and next to the sink that is in a single container and clearly meant to act as an all in one. There were some other people staying at the hotel playing really loud music inconsiderably during our stay. There were no staff around to tell them to please turn the music down so therefore this was not a relaxing experience. There is also no pool bar or anything to provide cold drinks or icecream/snacks. One day the cleaner left our patio door open without our knowledge. Luckily nothing was stolen! Hotel is around 25 mins from the beach and town. This is okay if you are happy to walk.

This hotel looked great, so i paid 180 euro for what they call a junior suite Upon arrival, was told the restaurant was closed ??? . Check in took forever as the girl was alone, having to handle reception, check in, serving the terrace, etc... The "junior suite" was located next to the reception and super noisy. Although spacious, amenities consisted of soap in a dispenser, no water bottles, the worst however were old very dirty "white" towels of the lowest quality Breakfast was a sorry affair, very little choice and questionable quality I got an apology at check out, "we have problems with laundry".....

Hotel Los Arco's is near the Mercadona supermarket. There are two benefits of going there. Firstly, Happy Hour(s) in the garden outside the hotel supplies the usual range of drinks at reduced prices. Secondly, a very nice restaurant where eating can be inside or on the covered terass. There is a good selection of meat and fish on the menu with reasonable prices. Cooking and presentation were of high standard. Service is always excellent.

Stayed here for 9 nights recently and delighted with our choice. Yes it is not in central Nerja and there is a 25 min walk into the Balcon area but we knew that when we booked. We got exactly what we wanted, a charming and quiet little hotel with a beautiful pool area. We had a superior room with large terrace and sun loungers. We loved having our own little haven away from the town centre and we walked in and out of town for evening meals no problem. Also ate in Burriana beach which is nearer than town. Had a meal in the restaurant on two nights and all very enjoyable in a lovely atmosphere. Also had happy hour drinks one eve in the garden. Lovely staff also so all in all I can’t think of one negative!

Small hotel with lovely room and decent pool with towels provided (ask at reception). Breakfast is ok but a bit samey. Didn’t try the restaurant. We upgraded to a superior room, which was quite large, nicely decorated, and a large balcony with patio furniture and sun beds. There was also a fridge, and kettle but no cups or spoons, although you could get these from the breakfast room. Very comfy extra king size bed. Bathroom was a bit dated, but had a decent shower. It’s 15 min down a very steep incline to the beach, and a climb back up. Not many taxis on this route while we were there, but we were ok walking both ways daytime and evening. Not good if you are not fit and mobile. Town centre is about 20/25 min walk away, and not such a steep walk. Taxi rank in town. Would we use again? Probably not in view of situation, which is a shame. Overall we were very happy with our stay and loved Nerja itself.

We enjoyed our stay at Los Arcos, the hotel was very comfortable and the staff were lovely. We had a superior room which had a large terrace with sea and mountain views though we were unable to the terrace as the weather was so bad. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom as fine with a good shower. The Wi-Fi in the room was excellent. Breakfast was simple but a cooked breakfast was available to order, the scrambled eggs and bacon were excellent. Happy hour was a bonus but we were very disappointed not to be able to have a tapas or snack with our drink, despite all the signs in the hotel advertising tapas. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the meal was fine, starters were excellent and mains were ok. The hotel is a good walk into town but there is a local bus available. The hotel was clean and comfortable and all the staff worked very hard to look after us.

We stayed for 3 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment at the hotel. Very spacious & clean. Comfortable beds & air conditioning. Breakfast was included. Great price less than £50 a night. Breakfast was plentiful. Omelette & cooked breakfast made to order. Lots of choice for juices, hot drinks, breads, cakes, cereals, fruit, toast. Cold meat & ham. Beautiful swimming pool. Shame it was too cold to swim. Lots of loungers & views. Mercadona supermarket is literally next door for all your food & drink needs. Great friendly staff. All clean & covid safe. Excellent stay. Highly recommended. Restaurant attached is fantastic. Swordfish was amazing.
