Well sized, clean rooms with decent amenities however some of the guest rooms in the hotel lack natural light and so if this is important to you, ask for a room at the front of the hotel. The breakfast was below average and certainly not worth the price. Decent hotel in this beautiful little town.

Stayed here for over a week in September 2015. Would like to rate the Hotel above average but below very good. Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and reasonable provided. It's difficult to forgive the lack of kettle and iron nowadays, but the bathroom was good and general pricing very good. The hotel building is also spacious and stylish, with a... More

We had a room on the ground floor. Stayed for 5 nights. Room was spacious and spotless. Beautiful marble floors, stylish furniture. Service impeccable, all staff members friendly and professional. Outstanding price/quality. Only remark: WiFi could be somewhat better (at times slow)

Stayed 3 nights to explore the area (Sevilla, Cordoba, mainly). We chose Carmona for its proximity to those 2 cities. Carmona itself is not exactly exciting. This is an old property that looks slightly past its prime, but this can be seen as a charm as much as a negative. It's in the old city portion of Carmona; if you're... More

When you entre the hotel, it is undeniable that all of the charm of Andalousie is present. Our room was spacious and the hotel is right next to the city center. Unfortunately though, from your room you could hear evereything going on in the hotel, and outside of the hotel. Therefore, during the whole night we were woken up by... More

This hotel was lovely and was beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful and in a great location within walking distance to everything in the town. Rooms were very large and had a fridge and all modern conveniences and tastefully decorated. The food in the Tapas bar was wonderful and very cheap. The bar also made the best Sangria on our... We went to this hotel as part of a group staying in various hotels in Carmona and Seville and overall I think we got the best deal. The staff were very friendly and helpful and on the whole spoke English and if not they were patient with our efforts at Spanish (we probably ate a few things we may not... More

I loved my visit to this hotel. It has an amazing view out over the surrounding countryside from the front doors, a lovely swimming pool, tasty tapas, beautiful breakfasts and the most kind and welcoming staff. Every single person working there made every effort to make our stay as part of a Nordic Walking Festival the best ever. My room... More

Excelent value. Nice rooms in a wonderful building. Great tapas bar with cold beer and a good selection of tapas and raciones, all well presented and tasty. The pool is a major plus and makes the finishing touch to one of the best hotels i have stayed in. Carmona also is an interesting town to visit without doubt a classic... More

I've been to Alcazar de la Reina two times for scientific conferences. The hotel is quite nice, with a very welcomed swimming pool to low the Andalusian heat. Breakfast was OK, it's very quiet and the rooms are big and with air conditioning. Recommended.
