Don't be put off by the location in what appears to be an industrial estate and the exterior look of this hotel. It is clean, modern and excellent value. The food is superb and the staff are really friendly. It's a quick 5 minute walk across the bridge to Ptuj itself, so the location couldn't be better. The room itself was spacious and modern. All-in-all a very good hotel

New hotel in an industrial area (between a car service garage and a car parts store. Plenty of free parking. No elevator. Very modern room: electric shades and touch lights. Free Wi-Fi, but the safe did not work. Across the river from downtown Ptuj, but the walking path to the bridge was dark and ugly (open garbage). Excellent, large free breakfast, custom prepared for each guest. Great view of the Ptuj castle, but no river view because of the high berm.

Don’t be put off by the location of this new hotel across the river from the old city. It may lack historic charm, but there was plenty to make up for that. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was a real bonus. If you have a vegetarian in your group this place is great. There are a number of options on the dinner menu and the vegetarian omelette or grilled vegetables with feta for breakfast were super. The hotel rooms are not large, but clever design, lots of natural light and spotlessly clean, makes the stay enjoyable. Finally the ample car parking makes a change from the challenges of parking in historic areas.

Nice place to stay while in Ptuj. Small modern hotel with great restaurant and pleasent staff. Prices are low and it's great value for money. Surrounding area is bit messy, but location is 5 min walk from Ptuj center.

This past December we had the luck of spending a few sunny holiday moments with our friends in Ptuj. You immediately know an excellent day awaits when you let the first morning sunshine rays in with a help of an automatic curtains opener. A majestic view of Ptuj castle opens up in front of you. For breakfast a wide array of dishes was on offer with fresh fruit and other local products. Later in the day we also enjoyed a delicious lunch to get us through the rest of the day. Very kind and professional staff, coupled with well-equipped rooms makes hotel Pomaranča a definite favorite when in town.

Big offer of delicious food and price is not overrated. The ambience here is very relaxed and romantic. Professional but still kind attitude from service and the staff. Rooms are very comfortable, nicely furnished. The whole experience including food, service and room amazed me.

Hotel is near the river Drava and 10 or 15 minutes nice walk to center. It's a new hotel from 2016.Rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean.Staff was very friendly, professional and smilling. The staff speaks several languages perfectly. The Wi-fi was a little bit slow, but I don´t take it as a problem. For normal use enough.Breakfast was good with very good coffee and fresh juice. When smaller hotel occupancy without buffet. But they bring you whatever you say.Restaurant for dinner and sitting too great.I recommend great draft Czech Pilsner Urquell :-) Habit for me is always Slovenian style service :-) I thank the staff for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is situated 15 minutes' walk outside the city center. It has 11 cozy and clean rooms. And most of the rooms (if not all) have a view to the Ptuj's castle. The staff is very friendly. The friendliest was a receptionist named Karin.
