I stayed at this hotel for a week with 5 friends. The town is an excellent base for exploring and very close to Bucegi National Park and the Cable car in Busteni. The hotel facilities were excellent, very modern and everywhere was spotlessly clean. I only used the Spa on one occasion but it was very well equipped and so easy to pop on the dressing gown and slippers and head down there. Breakfast was plentiful although with the festival starting during our week away, it was a bit hectic at times and easy to lose your table to someone else. Breakfast started at 7am which served us well as some mornings we left early to trek before the full heat of the day was upon us. We had a minibus so were able to park in the hotel carpark which made it very accessible for everyone. The view from the room wasn't great but you can't have it all when staying somewhere as nice as this. The only downside was, milk and teabags were not replenished daily and when I went to ask for some, the reception staff were disinterested and pointed me in the direction of the barman who told me to try room service so I gave up at that point. Also some of the staff in the Spa followed me and asked for my room number over and over again. Apart from these minor things, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

We arrived for one night, a large and spacious room. A very nice view of the main ride and lots of trees. Located right in the center and a short distance from the cable car, it's worth taking the cable car. The hotel spa is excellent, it has everything, a jacuzzi, an indoor pool, a salt room, and different types of saunas, an excellent breakfast and nothing was missing. Very kind staff and helped with every request.

Came here with my wife, our 11 months old son and my brother-in-law. Everything was exceptional.
Breakfast offers an impressively wide choice which was great for our baby. Also for our 11 months old the play room and the salt water pool were excellent and in the spa area we could always find sun chairs. The staff attitude is exemplary and I say this having interacted with the people working at the reception, reservation office, pool, restaurants and cleaning. There wasn't even one I could find any fault with. Parking is next to the hotel and there is plenty of space. The only minor thing I can think of for improving is maybe adding some of the Romanian sports channels to the list of TV programs available in each room.

The rooms in an Eastern Bloc-style prefab building are in dire need of renovation. The bathroom has a broken sink, a broken cistern, a shower in the bathtub that creaks loudly, the shower head is 1.5m high, lots of cables are laid in the cable duct, the topper flies out of the bed, frayed carpet on the balcony!!! The rooms are nothing like the photos on Booking. The price of €103 per night is not justified at all. After complaining, the hotel did not accommodate us, just a small fruit basket and a waiver of the parking fee of €4 per day. The pool, whirlpool and sauna can only be used by prior registration for a maximum of 2 hours, during our visit the pool and whirlpool (for a maximum of 4 people) were so full that we left. I recommend the Hotel Alexandru next door, which is very modern and has great rooms. All in all, a big disappointment

I only stayed one night and it was a comfortable night. The bed is quite comfortable, the curtains darken well, and few noises can be heard. Perfectly in the center of Sinaia. Breakfast is plentiful although not of high quality. Don't be scared if as soon as you wake up you see a saucer with fish heads greeting you in the morning :)
There is a convenient car park next door, for a fee of 4 euros per day. Advised.

It is located at the end of Sinaia’s main promenade and despite being built long before the current era, it is renovated and it looks like a modern four-star business hotel. The breakfast and the two restaurant salons are large and the hotel has top notch anti-covid safety measures: one-way systems, disinfectant points, temperature measurement, all the staffs wear masks and the customers are required to wear them too, and the very well stocked buffet, located at safe distance, is served by waiters. Our Standard Double Room was very clean, the king size bed was comfortable, the bathroom well equipped, the view from the balcony over the town scenic. Most of all we appreciated the throughout service – at the checking desk, at breakfast and at the restaurants. We dined one night at the Italian restaurant and the second night at the Tirol one. The food and the atmosphere were excellent at both of them.
Next time we came back to Sinaia, we will definitely stay at this hotel.
One extra comment: I forgot my Kindle in the open safe when I left. I realised my mistake many hours later. Irina and her colleagues were very helpful, finding it and hand it in to the courier I sent to recoup it. I am sorry for the extra time they spent correcting my mistake, and I thank them for their help from the bottom of my heart.

The hotel is an old classy hotel with bits of improvements after was build . Amenities kits are 4 stars . Bed sheets, towels , bathroom- clean ,but the carpet floor was quite dirty . Rooms are very small , we had to move and armchair to have where to open a big suitcase . We could hear our neighbours thru the walls .
The staff at the reception are very nice , doorman is very genuine good person !
However the staff at the breakfast restaurant are soooo rude ! They basically hate to be bothered. They really set a bad vibe in the morning once u go down for the breakfast. Food is ok food for a 3 star hotel , for sure is not 4 star . We also asked before leaving the room the cleaning lady to make our room , again , she really seemed bothered that she has another room to clean . That staff they don’t know what is customer service , hospitality. Is like they go to work being forced . What is nice is that hotel provides you with a parking and the location is very good to go for a walk in the center .

We just checked in Friday evening and every time we left the room, we had the surprise that we were left with the door knob in our hands, while the rest of the pieces were jumping in different directions. But that was not the big bother. Next to our room was checked in a family with a dog, who were enjoying breakfast and spa while the entire floor was terrorised by the hysterical bark of the dog who was left alone in the room. He woke us up early Saturday morning and he continued barking for at least one hour, then when we tried to rest in the afternoon we had the same problem. We called at the reception twice, we even went in person to talk with the receptionist together with other bothered guests and still we were told there were not much they could do. Apparently, the family with the dog was the only one from the entire hotel who deserved to rest and enjoy their weekend.

With a group of friends we stayed just one night on the Transylvania tour and it was a comfortable night. The bed is comfortable, the curtains are well darkened, very quiet. Perfectly in the center of Sinaia. The breakfast is plentiful. Unfortunately I cannot give information on the Spa as I have little time available, which is a shame. The only flaw is that the restaurant in Romania can't make you risotto with mushrooms, it was overcooked, we are in Romania, they do Romanian dishes

We recently spent four nights at Hotel International and it was a great experience! This is truly a 4-star hotel with a great location, within walking distance to Sinaia's city center, and very close to a few excellent restaurants. We had a good stay here in 2021, but compared to then, we found the hotel somewhat improved. Both of the hotel's restaurants (Tirol and Cucina Sofia) were open this time, so we got to enjoy them. We had a lovely room with a great view, there was literally nothing to complain about. This year we thoroughly enjoyed the pool & spa area, and it was the most pleasant experience after a long day hiking, to be able to soak in the various jacuzzis available, or in the freshwater & saltwater pools! We loved our stay at Hotel International and can't wait to be here there next year!
