Well what can I say, this is a beautiful hotel situated right opposite the beach, however even though you can sunbathe on beach you cannot swim as the waves crash very high sometimes, brilliant to c bodyboarders and surfing The room we stayed in was the best room 121 it has 3 windows and one of which opens onto a small... We use only the restaurant. Bad service and bad food!! We ordered a fish stew and there were so many bones that we could not eat. The desert also was bad. The frontview is good but it is not a place to come back !!

Stayed 6 nights with family for a bit of down time. Location great, female owner? at reception very helpful and nice. Seems to remember everyone and room numbers etc. Breakfast was pretty bad, only ham and cheese rolls were edible. Croissants and other pastry provided not fresh. Coffee from the machine was terrible. Lots of cafes nearby so were better... More

Loved this traditional little guest house across the road from the beach. We only stayed one night but wished it could have been longer. After a long walk around town and a ride up the funicular (just down the road), we came back to the hotel for dinner and were very happy with the decision. Food and wine were good... More

If you are not into old world charm this might not be the place for you. It is a traditional hotel with some charming features including the clay tiled floors on the ground floor and real wood boarding upstairs and a sloping timber stair with some winders. The dining room is part timber panelled with timber beamed ceiling and has... More

Not Good not bad average in Every way. The room was very smelly when we entered. It was giving me a headache right away. It had something to do with the washing powder I think. The staff weren't very friendly not rude also but just doing business. The bed was also so-so. All in all not so good but when... More

Perfect location for someone looking for a beach hotel in old style - room was small, with a small window, but the view compensates it. The staff is friendly and helpful, what I didn't like was the parking space in front of the hotel at 20€ per night. I managed to find a free parking a few streets away from... More

We were welcomed by helpful staff who spoke English and French. A garage was available for our hire car at a reasonable extra cost. Our room faced out across acres of golden sands, and the blue Atlantic. There was a pretty en suite bathroom and fresh towels were supplied each day. On our second day I development a sore throat,...
