The hotel is very modern and well maintained. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, so we took the time to walk the streets and the beach. The hotel is in a perfect location, overlooking the ocean and the cliffs. The room itself, while small, was modern and nicely appointed. The only issue we had was it smelled very...

We booked a room here to enjoy the view. We were not disappointed. Very clean room. Great service and help from the front desk to find our way around Nazare. Breakfast was included. They offered a variety of cheese, meats, fruits and breads.

Our efficient room was postage sized and, for that, not 100% comfortable. But, you're staying at a seaside property with the soaring cliffs of Sitio on one side and the postcard card view of the beach right in front of you. It's a decent enough place to stay as a base while visiting the towns of Batalha, Alcobaca, and the...

Located on a road by the beach, the hotel has an eye-catching location, but for the same reason it is also rather noisy and cramped. The rooms are small and a little dated, although the little English balcony helps. The restaurant is decent and the breakfast was fine. Parking is available and included, in a garage parking 5 minutes away....

I chose this hotel because of the location and price. It is located right off the beach, only the "main road" between the hotel and the beach, and next to restaurants and shops. The rooms are simple, but worked well enough. The hotel's restaurant was very good. Delicious food with a wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean. Staff was friendly.

Our room was very comfortable, with modern decor and a balcony that looked over the square and had a sea view. It was a wonderful, walkable location. The beach is right there and many delightful shops and restaurants are so close. A very good breakfast buffet was included. The front desk staff person was helpful and friendly. The hotel was...

We stayed at Mar Bravo in October. Our only regret is we did not stay more than 1 night. Everyone was so helpful from making the reservation to the moment we checked out. We had room 201 oceanfront with a balcony. It was modern, sparkling clean and efficient. The beach in Nazare is beautiful and we loved watching the waves....

We took Rick Steves advice and weren't disappointed. If you book here and drive in you will find that there appears to be no parking at the hotel apart from a one car chained off space on the seafront. Pull in anywhere you can without impeding traffic and walk round to the desk clerk who will come out, remove the...

We took 3 rooms in mar bravo, the location and view was very good and in the heart of nazare. The room itself is terrible, it is extra small with almost no room to move, the shower maintaince is bad, beton floor and crumbles mirror. The highlight was sound of machinery in the room till 2300 with no help (room...

My husband and I were thrilled when we arrived at Hotel Mar Bravo last month. The location across from the beach in Nazare was perfect, and the lovely room had two balconies, one overlooking the street, and one facing the beach. Our dinner in the hotel dining that night was delicious and the service there was good. The next morning,...
