Strengths: - Friendliness and service from the hotel staff, from reception to the dining room to room tidying. Without a doubt one of the few hotels where the hospitality was excellent. The friendliness of all the staff and their treatment of their customers was extraordinary. Impossible not to like. - Excellent food. Breakfast has a lot of variety with very fresh food and an excellent layout. I recommend going with half board. Dinner is wonderful, served à la carte with exquisite dishes, very tasty and using regional products. The cook is to be congratulated and the employees are very professional and always available with incredible friendliness and always concerned with customer satisfaction. - Beautiful decoration, with good rooms with a beautiful sea view, and a wonderful dining room. - One of the few hotels that maintain amenities, something that captivates the customer. - The water in the indoor pool at the ideal temperature - Very good outdoor pool - Very good cleanliness of the rooms and efficiency in cleaning, not taking long to tidy the room.
Negative points: - Location of the hotel. In terms of view, it is very beautiful because it has an incredible view of the sea, but we can only travel to the center of Nazaré by car and there is nothing around the hotel, neither restaurants nor shops. Any journey must be by car. - Road to the hotel should be improved. - Conservation of the indoor pool and its space. Although the water temperature was great and you could smell chlorine, I think the water should have been renewed. The space where the pool is located needs some renovation. - In the bedrooms the mattresses are a little hard.
Although these negative points exist, they do not influence the overall evaluation of the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay, in a beautiful and peaceful space and the hotel team is to be congratulated because in fact the way we were received and the professionalism of all the staff is rare to see nowadays in other large chain hotels. May they always remain like this. We will definitely be back.

I booked my room through Hotel.com. Will post the photo of “room description “ . Whatever in red circles are not happening with reality. You can hear very clearly what people are saying outside of your room. The mini-box( looks like a fridge ) is not a fridge and no tea pot or tea/coffee. people smoked outside on the patio but you can smell it inside your room. Nevertheless the view is panoramic and fantastic!

The hotel personnel are so nice here it almost makes up for the horrible mattress.
They were nice from check in to check out. Room service delivery person asked me to taste a glass of wine to make sure I liked it before she left my room.
Lots of kids here, indoor pool was busy. They upgraded me to a ground floor suite that was fantastic!
Property looks neglected which is a shame because the views are incredible.
If only the mattress was better....

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It turned out to be much nicer than the pictures show which is always a pleasant surprise! I liked it so much I decided to add another night. The breakfast could definitely use improvement and that is my only reason for a 4 star review instead of 5. I had a car which made my stay much easier as I can see how the location could be undesirable if you do not have one. Even then, Ubers and taxis are under 7€ to the waterfront and back so it makes the incredible view over town worth the more isolated location. The restaurant, view, balcony, and pools were great! Very friendly staff as well :)

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and as helpful as you can get. The room was spotless and spacious. The breakfast was plentiful and you were not rushed in any way if you happened to be a little late. We had drinks by the pool which were brought to us from floor 4 and we had to check out at 1am and were given a lunch box for our journey. Oh, and the indoor pool was brilliant. Very warm and relaxing. Really enjoyed our stay in every way.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The view is amazing, the staff are very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was great, always well stocked with quite a few choices. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed the food and the service. Plenty of parking at the hotel and i would highly recommend you do have a car if staying here. We love to walk but didnt attempt it into town from here, i would imagine its quite a way. The roads in Nazare are very windy but the hotel is signposted as you drive around and the gps was accurate. Would stay again without any doubt if in the area.

Beautiful location for a hotel but you need a car because it is pretty far from the center of town. I had no problem driving back and forth and there was always plenty of parking. The hotel seems fairly new but lots of wear and tear on the furnishings, walls, and tiles. The beds and pillows are so uncomfortable that I would wake up with my whole body aching. You can hear everything from the room next door and hallway. It is very difficult to get a good night's sleep because of all the noise. No hair conditioner or kleenex provided. Breakfast was enjoyable.
With that great view, I was hoping there would be more places to be able to chill and work or be social. That wasn't really the case so I ended working from my room most of the time. No USB outlets and the desk and chair provided in the room were very uncomfortable. Not a good set-up for people who need to work but that is likely not the hotel's preferred demographic. Since so many people are here for the waves, it would also be nice to have a wave forecast in the lobby and some info on best times to go watch the surfers.
If I came back to Nazare, I would stay somewhere else.

We spent a week with family (10 people), rented 4 sea view rooms including a suite with a superb view of Nazare and the fishing port (310). The hotel is very clean, the breakfast pleasant, the indoor heated swimming pool pleasant but you have to take the car to get to the places of interest. I can't say anything about the catering because we ate outside. The staff took great care. I recommend this establishment.

The view of the Atlantic Ocean is impressively beautiful, but that's pretty much the only thing this hotel has to offer. The hotel is high up in a sad area with very messy construction. There are over 3 km. to the town with the beaches (although the hotel claims 800m). The hotel is run down and with ordinary rooms. We had access to a small terrace which was not properly cleaned and there were several cigarette butts in the beds. There were also rooms with a balcony and with a "Garden view" where you could look down into a backyard with a totally worn-out mini-golf course. Outdoor pool and bar which was also located in a sad tiled courtyard. The bar offers a menu that almost cannot be categorized as food. Unfortunately a bit of a sad experience for us, but we love Portugal and luckily found much better hotels on our trip

We arrived at approximately 15:15 and are told that the entrance is at 16:00, but they do us the great favor of letting us in. The hotel voucher clearly states that check-in is from 2 pm. The fridge doesn't work, so the fridge doesn't cool. The chest doesn't work. The shower head does not hold itself and you have to hold it with your hand to shower. When the neighbor closes the door, all the walls of the room rumble. The arrival road you have to do it with GPS, because it is separated and very narrow between pines. The hotel is not in the village and you have to travel for everything with the car. Austere breakfast for what you pay for hotel. Pay almost 200 euros for this, go elsewhere.

If I understand your question correctly, you are asking about getting a paper/card from your room to check out two towels for the pool. I am not familiar with that process as we did not use the pool when we were at the hotel. However, we didn't have a card and have to go through that process as we were not aware of it. Sorry!
There is general entertainment in the summer months in Portugal. However, not much around the hotel. The hotel is much newer but in a secluded area on the hill. It's a good walk to the little town/village but there are different bakeries in the area with yummy treats.
É de morna para fria, mas em dias frios devem aumentar a temperatura. Apenas como ponto negativo, é obrigatório o uso de touca na piscina interna, o que achei bem chato.
There are more places to choose from in the Nazare area.
