I have been staying in this hotel since ever. Always when on holidays and when in Portugal, this is where we always stay. Is already a tradition to visit Nazare and to stay here. Location is ace...on front of the beach. The rooms are lovely and renovated. They aren’t very big, but there’s nothing missing in there. Staff is wonderful

It’s a cozy little hotel, conveniently located with a beautiful view (if you booked a room with sea view) - guests without a room with sea view can use one of the balconies to watch the sunset. It’s a bit noisy, you hear the other guests showering and the noise from the street - but the location and cute rooms really make up for this (unless you expected a very quiet location and solitude - then you chose the wrong place). Breakfast was perfect for me - but it’s just a regular choice, nothing fancy. It took me a while to find out not to get milk from the machine if I wanted no sugar. The milk was sweetened. I would stay there anytime again.

Positives- hotel was clean and location was great. Negatives- really noisy, people banging doors day and night. Noise from kitchen could be heard from our room on the second floor. Lift made one hell of a screeching noise when in use. Access to bathroom is obstructed by the wardrobes, bed uncomfortable and very noisy. Mini fridge was bigger than the television. Electrical wires exposed in bathroom and hairdryer above hand basin! Very dangerous! Had food in the hotel restaurant the night we arrived, ordered chicken and chips which I pointed out on the menu and was brought shellfish, after returning the shellfish I was then brought minute steak with rice! When I did finally get chicken and chips, I’m afraid to say it was terrible!!! The view from our room was not great, an empty space where a building had been knocked down. Parking Outside the hotel is payable and rarely available, free parking is a good 10 minute walk away. Not the best experience I’ve ever had!!!

The room was fantastic! Perfect for what we needed. We were only in Nazare for one night, unfortunately, but we couldn't have asked for a more suitable place to stay. The location was the best! We very much enjoyed sitting on our balcony overlooking the ocean, people watching, while sipping a glass or two of wine. The room itself was very clean and the bathroom was excellent (very modern and clean as well). We didn't eat in the restaurant below so I can't speak to that. The breakfast included in our stay was very tasty though, on par with the other places we stayed at while in Portugal (i.e., cold cuts, breads/buns, cheeses, sweets, cereal, coffee, tea, etc.). We did have a vehicle so we had to use the paid public parking garage, which was about a 5 min walk from the hotel. There were spots for the hotel underground so we used that. It was 7.50 euros/day and super easy to use. The hotel staff give you a card to swipe before entering the garage (always use this & do not take a ticket). Upon checking out, you pay the daily amount, retrieve your car & simply return the card back to the hotel. Easy! Should we ever return to Nazare, we will most definitely stay here again! Can't really think of anything. Other than having to park off-site, which really wasn't a big deal, we had no complaints. Always a good thing :-) I was happy we had an ocean view room though because there was construction going on beside the hotel. Having a room solely overlooking that would have kind of sucked. Not the hotel's fault at all but just saying.
