I stayed with my two daughters for two nights in Annebrook House Hotel. We got a very good rate on the lids-breaks website. We found the hotel easily in the centre of Mullingar and there was plenty of free parking available in the underground car park. On checking in we were told we were being given an apartment rather then... More

We attended a wedding here last year and really enjoyed it. Staff on the day were extremely friendly and we really feel they provided a personalised service to all the wedding guests. Our little girl was made feel very welcome, as were we, the food was amazing and very plentiful and our room and breakfast the next morning were great.... More

I have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions but this was the first time on my own and the staff could not have been more helpful, especially Andrew who gave me a quiet room, as requested, at the back of the hotel and made a point of asking if I slept ok the following morning. As I was... More

Were there for a week-end with 9 family members. Stayed in the apartments, spotless and cosy. very impressed. This hotel is in the middle of the town. Bedrooms are spotless as are the bathrooms. We had lovely breakfasts with loads of choices, and the staff are extremely helpful. we are already planning our next trip.

This is a lovely place to stay, the staff were lovely and the apartment was great, just what we were looking for. And the breakfast on the morning just perfect. We'll definitely be back! We didn't eat in the bar so cannot comment on that. Turn to your left when you leave the hotel and there's plenty of pubs within... More

Very large appointment with comfortable beds. A shame the kitchen had no cooker and is short of utensils such as wine glasses. There is very little on the menu for vegetarians. Good location and parking.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Annebrook House Hotel is Mullingar's newest 4* hotel. Centrally located in the centre of Mullingar over looking acres of Town Park. The Annebrook offers an excellent service to both its corporate & leisure guests. The hotel is built around an original Georgian house tastefully entwining the old with the new. The hotel boasts 26 executive rooms, 2 champagne suites, and 36 luxury 2 bedroom apartments which also have two en suites and a living area, the apartments are connected to the hotel via a glass walkway. All the accommodation is to a high standard. The Brosna River flows through the grounds of the Annebrook Houses. The river its self is probably one of the prime reasons why Mullingar exists at all as it would have been a significant factor why the Normans chose to build here in the medieval times. Dining at The Annebrook is a unique experience. The Old House Restaurant is located in the cellar of the Old house, with its original limestone walls and its original fire places it has a warm cosy Berty's bar offers a option of Carvery served at lunchtime or a bar food menu served in the evening. ... more   less
