Many of us have had that trip where the experience does not live up to our expectations this was definitely not one of these. The Mornington House experience will not disappoint you. The house built around 1849 and does gracefully show its age this is part of the thrill when staying in this truly wonderful place. We stayed overnight with... More

We stayed with Anne and Warwick for two nights in a huge beautiful bedroom. Mornington has been in Warwick's family since the mid 1800's, and the history of the house and the furnishings is fascinating. The gardens and grounds are expansive and were coming into bloom when we were there...beautiful! Dinner was such a treat, Anne is a wonderful cook.... More

Stayed for 1 night after dropping out son to Body and Soul music festival. Arrived just in time for a quick change and then pre drinks in the drawing room. Kate and I were the only guests in the formal dining room. Starter was deep fried Brie with fresh leaves from the garden. Mushroom soup was rich and teaming with... More

My wife and I had a lovely relaxing stay here for one night. The house, gardens, and food where all excellent. The bedroom was huge and the bed very comfortable. Warwick and Anne were wonderful hosts and the stay was very enjoyable, thoroughly relaxing and I would recommend it.

This was a great retreat to the country and not too far from Dublin along the main routes. We took over the house's 4 bedrooms for a family get-together and were warmly welcomed by Warwick & Anne. 3 of the rooms are full of period features, light and space while the 4th is a little more modest so if it's... Warwick and Anne are the most wonderful hosts to their home! Our room was wonderful, the 4 course dinner was very excellent, the afternoon tea was lovely, and the made to order breakfast was delicious! We could not have asked for a better start to our Ireland experience. We would recommend this BB to any of our friends and family... More

I stayed at Mornington House with my family in April 2016. We booked all four rooms so we had the house to ourselves which was lovely. The Location Multyfarnham is about 1.5 hours drive from Dublin, along motorway most of the way. I can recommend Weirs pub for lunch and if you feel like a stroll afterwards, take the short... More

My wife and I had a beautifully relaxing night hosted by Warwick and Ann. The location was ideal. Very quiet in mature woodland setting. The room was beautiful and private. We ate out but an evening meal was an option and, by all accounts, it was very good. The next morning the breakfast was fantastic. There was a great variety... More

What a lovely stay at mornington! Dinner was an event- candlelit, sumptuous and very atmospheric. Delicious! Loved the gardens and views and peace and quiet and lack of wifi😊. And great hospitality. Thanks Anne and Warrick, great hosts, well recommended.

Beautiful old country house, filled with charm and history. Warwick and Anne O’Hara are welcoming gracious hosts... Our candlelit dinner was excellent..served with vegetables from their garden... The carrot and orange soup is a real treat! We had a delightful stay and will undoubtedly return...
