We're always given the warmest welcome from Janette and her family. She does everything in her power to make sure your stay is comfortable. The breakfast is scrumptious, all fresh produce with an amazing choice. Looking forward to my next visit to Duncrone.
Jeanette, the host/owner at Duncrone B&B provided a warm welcome, a large, clean, well-equipped room with a view and delicious breakfasts. The B&B is located in a quiet area above the town of Ardmore, practically next door to one of Ireland's best round towers -...More

Dear terbit ,
Thank you for my first three dot review , imagine my surprise .

Hello Patti B, I know the books you have read , The Ardmore Trilogy , I have had many guests stay here for the same reason . Ardmore is a beautiful place and ideal to use as a base , if you drive for one and a half hours you can reach places like , Kinsale, Blarney, Rock of Cashel , Waterford crystal , Hook Head and Lismore Castle . I know you said you prefer scenery but coming from Wexford/Waterford side you have the copper coast drive, a beautiful coast road . Coming back from Cashel you can come down through the Vee a beautiful mountain drive .Ardmore itself has a scenic Cliff walk , 5 beaches and a lot of historical sites , including a Round Tower dating from the twelfth century .
I hope this is some help and look forward to hearing from you
Kind regards , Jeanette
