We visited recently for a bite to eat ... Great steaks and sides all at a reasonable price ... Guinness was a bit off though and hopefully they will address this for the next time we visit. All in all a good place to eat and we would recommend it for other visitors. Dave, Jenny, Norman and Carol from Carrickfergus,...

Got to stay here recently, great value for money, central location in the heart of the town, great shower, comfortable bed, tea/ coffee in the room, ideal for people on a budget. Great breakfast in morning.

Had an excellent breaded chicken chili wrap for 6.95€. Food came quick and was piping hot. Great table service and clean modern atmosphere. Located on pedestrian ally off of main road. Kid friendly too.

Great value rooms for main street location. I was given room 5 which did not have a view but I can't complain as price was so cheap (40 euros for room). Bed was comfortable and great solid walls that I could not hear any noise at all. Only complaint is very small TV with 3 channels.

We found Jacksons a bit shabby overall. No great welcome when we came. We paid 76.50 Euro on arrival, and were immediately told that it did not include breakfast. Room was basic enough. When we came in that night, there seemed to be an unpleasant smell downstairs. The bed was comfortable, we slept well and the shower was good. In...

We received no welcome or even acknowledgment upon arrival from the manager/owner. Not what I have come to expect when visiting Ireland. When we finally got his attention he was vague and offhand, and told us that breakfast would be at 10am. I told him that we had an early funeral to attend, and one of the reasons we had...

Booked an event here and was very disappointed with management and how an issue was dealt with, will not be returning. Very unprofessional, do not have skills required to deal with customers. Food was okay, desserts were very poor, especially chocolate brownie served with nothing only reheated and with burnt chocolate on top.

My husband and I stayed here as we were attending our friends wedding near by. The rooms were basic but adequate, no problem for us at all as we were barely in our room. The breakfast was fantastic and the service was excellent. The location of this hotel is ideal for the town amenities and as a base if you...
