Facing the sea, the beautiful Beaufort House. we had a warm welcome. The room was overlooking the sea and spacious. The breakfast was wonderful. First, the salmon, then the Irish Breakfast. It was very good.

For 12 years we have been visiting beautiful Carlingford and most of all we love staying with Glynis and Michael at Beaufort house. We feel at home as soon as we arrive and are greeted and welcomed warmly by our hosts. Bedrooms are beautifully presented with fantastic views over Carlingford Lough and the Cooley Mountains. Breakfast is prepared and served... More

Just returned from a fabulous overnight stay in the superbly positioned home of Michael and Glynnis on the quiet shores of Carlingford Lough. We had a beautiful view from our large bedroom. A short walk in to the small village of Carlingford to one of the great restaurants. A fabulous breakfast containing homemade jams and breads was served in the... More

A lovely B+B situated on the edge of the sea, great breakfast, only downside was a centre rolling bed which needed some adjustment to get used to, however this did not detract from our visit to Carlingford

This was my second stay at Beaufort House, and it was as wonderful as the first time, but even better since I was immediately comfortable with the fabulous hosts and the spectacular views from the house and my room! Carlingford is a great village to visit with many, many historic sights and oodles of great walking opportunities as well as... More

We loved our 4 night stay here and the hosts Glynnis and Michael were so very welcoming. Our room at the front of the house overlooked Carlingford Loch and the Mountains of Morne beyond. I have rarely had such a beautiful outlook when doing my makeup. It was a huge room and extremely clean. The bed was massive and very... More

Stayed 2 nights in September, Very nice comfortable room, breakfast excellent and the owners, Michael & Glynnis, were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Quiet position and a short walk to the centre of Carlingford. If we were returning to Carlingford Beaufort House would definitely be our first call.

Beaufort House is a very clean and tidy B/B in a peaceful location overlooking Carlingford Loch. It is very easy to find approaching the village and just a few minutes walk into the village where there are numerous pubs and restaurants. We ate at the sailing club as suggested by the owners, and we had a lovely meal overlooking the... More

Michael and Glynnis are the best hosts we found in our Ireland trip. They are friendly and they helped us to spend very good time in Carlingford. The breakfast is great whit choice of home made jam and bread and also we tried a very good salmon cooked in a delicious orange butter sauce. After one night (and one breakfast!)... More
