Visited the smugglers after a day at the beach with family after hearing great reviews about the food. But the reviews I had heard did not live up to what we were served. I ordered the burger from the bar menu and to be quite honest it was horrible... It was like frozen burgers with a horrible texture and it... More

There's no denying that the smuggler's is the best place to go in rossnowlagh for some pints. The atmosphere in the pub is great, proper Irish decor and the craic to go with it. The view of the bay is truly stunning and the staff are friendly and helpful. Eating from the bar snacks menu in the pub half of... More

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with family with stunning sea and mountain views. Located at Rossnowlah near Donegal town. Food was great and service prompt and friendly. Menu very varied. Didn't stay so can't comment on accommodation but can recommend the restaurant highly.

Single room €55 euro on a Monday night in July was a bit much... Ensuite but No TV in room... Breakfast was ok but nothing special.. Did not eat there so can't comment... Just felt a bit had... Free parking... Great views... Walking distance from beach...

Good honest Irish pub grub, excellent Scampi and good fish and chips. Great view. Great menu for kids and great with kids. Serve good beer. A great spot to go after a morning's surfing with Rossnowlagh Surf School (great lads) Would definitely go back.

We stopped by for lunch today Plenty of choice for meat, fish eaters and a good veggie menu Menu has shrunk considerably from our last visit but it makes choice easier. I would recommend the "sea trout" it was filleted and not a bone in sight, served with champ and veg with a white sauce, delicious. Service was excellent To... More

Fantastic service by all - the owner/manager is on top of things here, you can see her ensuring everything is just how it should be. The food is fresh, good quality and reasonably priced. There's a pleasant atmosphere and a great view over the beach!
