the place was packed which is a good sign and still they were able to get us a table. The food was perfect and the staff were so helpful. Highly recommend this place. Parking is no trouble either--even on a busy Friday evening and in the town centre we got parked without any trouble

Recently spent 3 nights in the Tara Hotel, Killybegs, Co Donegall. Hotel staff excellent, room clean, breakfast excellent, other meals 3 out of 5. Killybegs itself was a bit of a disappointment. Couldn't get a booking in other restaurants in the area. Also if you are going to 'the busiest fishing port in Ireland' think again. The boats under EU... More

Had a very pleasant stay, the restaurant food was first class and the staff very friendly. The room was clean with a good view of the harbour and I would stay here again. The only criticism I would have is the noise from the traffic on the road below, other than that great value for money.

On a previous trip I stayed at another local hotel and was dissapointed so decided to try the Tara this time, it was a massive improvement! The hotel is modern, clean and the staff are very friendly, the hotel is opposite Killybegs harbour so has great views from the rooms and bar. I ate in the bar, meals were good... More

We stayed at the Tara for 2 nights because our previously booked self-catering accommodation in Killybegs turned out to be a disaster. Lisa and Pauline on reception were extremely professional and welcoming, as were all the staff. We had to stay a second night due to a flat tyre (you couldn't make this up) and we were very fortunate that... More

We stayed at the Tara hotel during the week . It is in the heart of killybegs over looking the water . Stunning !. The staff were so helpful I could sing their praises enough. The receptionist was great and advised us if we had enough time " Slieve League" was worth a visit. We went via the coastal road... More

We stay there for lunch...what means We cannot choose from alá carte...so I cannot select so much. It is something like buffet with hot food. I don't like main, but white chocolate cheesecake with strawberry and homemade basil strawberry sorbet was amazing!!! 👌🏼

Fab hotel in a superb location! Had a family wedding and the staff allowed us into our room on arrival rather than the usual 2pm which was great as we were able to shower and change instead of having to use my sisters room. Staff were very friendly especially the receptionist who would always chat whenever we passed. Lovely rooms... More
