The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Breakfast really good. All the staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a meal in the restaurant which again was nice with very pleasant staff

Myself & my family stayed for 2 nights recently in this hotel and I couldn't recommend it enough. The staff were all so helpful & couldn't do enough to make our stay fun, relaxing & enjoyable! Even though there was a wedding in the hotel on both nights during our stay, they didn't impede on service we received or enjoyment... More

This hotel was horrible from the moment I rang to book. The receptionist I spoke to didn't want to know about any requests I had so I asked her to put me on the phone to the accommodation manager who proceeded to hang up on me. When I arrived the room wasn't ready so I was offered tea and scones... More

Room was very shabby with stains on the floor. Bad smell in the room & room was very cold even with heating on. There was a leak over the shower and the floor towels etc got soaked just before we left. Breakfast only average, won't be staying here again.

We stayed in the Oriel on Friday of the October bank holiday which was of course Cork jazz fest. Booked the Oriel directly on their website. Easy to use, quick and simple. Emailed the wonderful Katie in reservations. I received a very prompt reply and she was so very helpful and friendly and really couldn't have done any more for... More

One night mid week stay. Staff pleasant & friendly. Big bedroom & ensuite. Large foyer. Pool & gym. Good beer & bar food. Fish fresh ( chips hard & burnt). Great full Irish breakfast. Better than many cork city centre hotels. Good value at €110.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Our room was comfortable with all amenities. Would benefit from a little tlc. We were unable to use spa as it was being refurbished, a notice on the website would have been helpful. Overall a pleasant stay and we would be happy to return.

We stayed at this hotel in October for a wedding which also took place at the hotel. Everything was fantastic. The room was large and clean. The staff were very helpful. The accommodations for the wedding ceremony and reception was beautiful. The food at the wedding which was catered by the hotel was delicious and plentiful. This was one of... More

We had a one night stay here when we visited Cork recently. In retrospect, we were fortunate that we had booked a property with parking which was situated just outside of the city, as the traffic in the city centre (for non locals) looked like something best avoided. The reception staff gave us valuable advice about leaving our car at... More
