Very friendly and helpful staff, facilities are very well maintained. The swimming pool is spotlessly clean and well heated. The gym has good quality cardio machines with a separate free weights area, so there is plenty of space and equipment. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and there is a good atmosphere.

My husband and I and our daughters stayed here this past weekend. We were attending my God child's wedding and decided to treat ourselves with an overnight stay. The food is fantastic from the food at the meal to breakfast and the lunch we enjoyed the following day. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room... More

We stayed here for 2 nights BB. Our room was very spacious but on lower level so we only had a view of a wall. The room in general needed some fixing, ripped headboard and the shower unit needed a clean and ceiling needed work. Shower was temperamental and either scolded you or froze you. We ate in the bar... I was down there for a family function this weekend. I was shocked when we entered the bedroom to find it freezing cold. We headed down to the bar to have a bowl of soup to heat us up which was nice. The food at the function was lovely, but the residence bar consisted of ordering your drinks at reception... More

Stayed here for two nights on a weekend away with my other half. Staff were lovely, every member we met was very friendly & obliging. Breakfast was good, ate in the bar one night & the food was tasty also. The pool is great too. On arrival the first room we got stank of cigarettes, the windows had been left open to air... More

We arrived in the hotel to no available parking, we waited in the car for 20 mins approx until a space opened up. We then entered the hotel, checked in and proceeded to the room. The reception area and halls were nicely decorated. We entered the room and collapsed on the bed, it had been a long day! We turned... More

Went out to Ballincollig for a family occasion over the weekend at the Oriel House. The function room was much bigger and more spacious than I had expected. Loads of space and very comfortable. Everyone seemed to be having a good time.

I booked via booking.com a few weeks before at the rate of 79 euros for the room only. We arrived and were greeted in reception by a lovely but very busy (as she was also dealing with reservations) receptionist. We were given two key cards and were told where to go. On our way, we noticed the carpet in the... More

Went in for a lunch with my wife and 2 young kids. A mix of carvery and sandwich and children's set menu available. For a hotel of its nature the food and presentation was basic. It was by no means over priced but a little on the high side for the quantity of food. I would return to determine if... More

I've stayed here a few times with work and I haven't been disappointed - consistency in standard of service provided. The rooms are warm and beds comfy - the bathrooms spacious and super warm. The leisure facilities are excellent - lovely swimming pool, spa, sauna & steam room. The last time I stayed, the breakfast service was a bit slow,... More
