This is a lovely hotel, set in the countryside. The hotel has a main building with reception and the restaurant, and then a number of separate guest buildings. The rooms we were in were fresh and clean, designed with a 'hamptons' feel, with an outdoor verandah area. The bathroom was a good size with a shower over the bath. The...

Stayed to see the northern lights. Hotel in amazing surroundings. Rooms are large and well furnished. Food is amazing - try the lamb. Hot tubs warm but we didn't use them. Waiting staff (head waiter) a real star. We had a wrong order and he quickly corrected it and gave us a complementary drink. Really good service and so engaging...

The concept of this hotel is a bit strange. There are about ten buildings in a circle, some of them with separate hotel rooms, other with large appartments. We stayed in a large, clean and very comfortable room, near the main building. Nice view on free nature outside. Beds are perfect! Breakfast buffet is OK, with everything you desire. I...

We spent 3 nights here as part of a northern lights tour. We were housed together in a guest house consisting of around 10 rooms each with a private patio. It was a short walk to the main building with the restaurant and it was rather dark! Great for viewing the NL (i guess but sadly didn't see any!) but...

We arrived here after a day of driving around southern Iceland. A quick check in and we got to our room an even quicker change order clothes and we were in the hot tub with a beer. The room was large and Scandinavian in style. Very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were helpful and friendly and the service prompt...

First of all the hotel was very nice, big bathtub, heated floors, modern style, friendly staff, large tv, minibar in the room, perfect location, IKEA everywhere. We were friends traveling with a group and were excited to stay in one of the best hotels in Iceland. To be honest we did not feel we were getting the service we were...

The apartments were ideally located within the Golden Circle, secluded and peaceful with mountains as the backdrop. Although the property in approximately 7 years old the accomadation itself was incredibly comfortable, well maintained and very clean. We had a two bed appartment which had a seating area, two large bedrooms, tall fridge/mini bar, shower room as well as private hot...

An absolutely beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We stayed for 1 night as part of our long weekend, this hotel is wonderful. The staff are so helpful and make you feel so welcome as soon as you arrive. We were very lucky to be put in a house for the night and it was amazing, everything was so clean...

The hotel is about 75-90 minutes drive from KEF airport. The hotel quotes a one-way transfer at ISK 55000 (about $500 USD), and a taxi would be $250-$300. So a car is more or less mandatory if not on a tour that includes transportation. However with a car the location is good, and I was able to easily drive to...
