We had a great night there, but in the morning, we forgot our rain jackets in our room. The manager immediately called the tour company, Hey Iceland, that arranged our trip, and mailed our jackets to their office in Reykjavik. We got them in time for our last day, which was cold and rainy, and would not have been so much fun without our jackets!

This hotel is far away from everything. The room and the heating were okay but the big issue was the restaurant. You need to drive 30 mns to find something else and in this restaurant its really expensive for a simple vegetable soup with bread (around 2400 kr) and a menu of a soup and fish for 5400 kr. If you are not the heir of a big kingdom I truly advice you to eat before or bring food with you

This hotel is remote and there is nothing around for miles. Small rooms, nothing fancy. Really small and and strangely laid out bathrooms. Basic breakfast but fills your stomach. Staff was friendly. Not the place for a long term stay but good for overnight.

The location was very picturesque. The entrance was not convenient to lugg luggage up the stairs into the dining room and to the reception desk. The furnishings in the room were in need of an upgrade. The room had no luggage rack or shelf in bathroom for personal items. Only one power outlet. The curtains did not suffice to keep out the light in the morning. The breakfast was sparce and quality not as expected. The coffee was hot and freshly brewed, though.

The hotel is situated in the beautiful eastern icelandic countryside and very quiet. The rooms are simple and smallish. Quite the seventies feel to everything. People were friendly and breakfast was ok.
