Stayed in this charming town and chose the centrally located hotel next to Netto Grocer. Seems that all tourists will swamp the grocers to stop up drinks, snacks, candles (romantic) and all kinds of food. Easy microwaveable quick food to raw meat to prepare more intense meal.

We stayed here for a single night while passing through the area. The rooms were very clean and well-kept, the Wifi worked well for us, and the hotel staff was always friendly. The restaurant looked nice, but there were a few other places we wanted to try in the area so we

Very nice bathroom.
How long does it take from Keflavik airport
This hotel is on the other side of the island, around 700km from Keflavik. That is at least 9 hrs driving, but most would take a few days to see the sites on the way. Icelandair is a chain of hotels around the island an there are many closer to Keflavik than this specific one.

Not sure about at the hotel but it is right in the middle of Eglisstadir which, although not a big town, likely has laundry nearby. I'd ask the hotel directly. All the staff speak English.
