Such a great place to stay. The view from the place is amazing. You get a very good breakfast in the morning. The beds and bedrooms are very nice. The owners are two lovely people who really make you feel at home and a part of there family. Absolutely a great place to stay would highly recommend staying here

Quaint and rustic, bordering on old and tired. We were booked in for a week, but finally left and moved to a much nicer hotel for the last two nights. Our room at La Maison aux Volets Bleus was very small and plain, with the wardrobe situated in the bathroom, with only a curtain for coverage. As the shower over...

have a lovely view, good balcony. and quaint.. but all the hotels in this village should be similar or better. look for more places as the hosts make a lot of difference... the hosts for this are good.... but for places like this I would expect more warmth. If you on bugdet, a good place to pick.. if you notch...

There are better options - the price is steep for what you get. The rooms are mostly quite small, the bed linens and towels are tired. In summer heat the atmosphere is stifling. The views are splendid, the courtyard attractive, but ... you should look elsewhere.

Somehow they've kept the tourist buses out. It is very special to find such a lovely medieval town salvaged for real folks. You can't go wrong settling in here a few days or making it a base. It's very special.

I first came with a plein air painting class and loved it. The next time I brought my husband and he agreed with me. It's quintessential French. We love the quiet village and the balcony for a glass of wine. I'm traveling there this summer for the third time this summer.

The town of Venasque lies ca 2000 m up in the mountains. Small, beautiful and cozy in the evening, with amazing panoramic views. Hotel is more like bed and breakfast. Good for 1-2 nights stand. Old rustic interiors, Wi-Fi in the breakfast room and a wonderful terrace where the owners of the hotel serve breakfast in the morning. That's it....

A very small hotel with only 5 rooms with a stunning view of the mountains. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and very colorful. The terrace where we have breakfast (which was a simple continental breakfast) is out of this world. What a view!! The Wi-fi didn't really work and no one knew how...

Our watercolor workshop had the pleasure of staying at this charming inn for a week. Martine and Jerome, the innkeepers, were excellent hosts and cooks. (Martine can make a mean cherry creme brulee with her blowtorch!) The common room was friendly and comfortably furnished for our group of 10 and had wi-fi, which was important to those of us who...

The rooms are without A/C, but not too hot due to thick walls. We had a wonderful view from the window. The bathroom was OK, but a bit too rustic. The facility has a terrace for meals, and it offers a splendid view. The dinner we were served was excellent, but the breakfast could be better and more promptly served....
