Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is a walk through facility is open at 9:00 AM every day of the year (except Christmas Day). We now have twenty-seven natural habitat areas, where our 6 black bears and many of our cats can run and play on the grass and under the trees; this is our ultimate goal for all of our Big Cats. All of our cats are beautiful, special and loved very much. Each one has his/her own story to tell and you are sure to find a favorite or two among them. Our prices: Adults - $15.00. Children 4-12, seniors 65 and over, and veterans - $10.00. Children 3 and under admitted free of charge. Our group rates are: Bus Drivers and Guides are always free. Groups of 6-10 / $1.00 off each admission; groups of 11-20 / $2.00 off each admission; groups 21-30 / $3.00 off each admission; groups over 30 / $4.00 off each admission. Your admission is good for all day, and includes a walking tour of our newly opened natural habitat areas as well as a self-guided tour of the cats in our main compound. The time you spend in the main compound can vary from 10 minutes to over an hour, depending upon how much time you spend in front of one cage or another. The walking tour of the habitat areas is about a 30 minute guided tour and they are scheduled every hour on the hour from 11:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. The self-guided portion is all walking, but there are benches throughout to rest. We do have a wheel chair to borrow if needed. The guided tour is also walking, unless special assistance is needed and we can accommodate people with a riding tour on our cart (which carries five maximum). For large groups we will be happy to put one of our staff on your bus to give you a guided tour of the large habitat areas upon special request. Most of our staff are Biologists or Zoologists that come from all over the world to learn how to work with the Big Cats. Our tree house bungalow rents for $150/night for two, $15.00 extra for each additional person 5 or older. It sleeps two on a "clicker sofa" downstairs, and it has two twin beds tucked under the eaves in the loft. Generally, it is comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. Although small, it also has full kitchen facilities, a wrap-around deck and is quiet and secluded. The cats are located only a few yards away in some of the larger enclosures. Children under 5 years old are not allowed in Tree House due to TCWR's safety policy. Our two Bed & Big Cat suites can accommodate up to four people, with a queen size bed and fold-down clicker couch. Price is$150.00/night for two, $15.00 extra for each additional person 3 or older. Babies are welcome at no additional charge. Both rooms have cats right outside the window, and are open year-round. The Safari Guest Lodge (adults only) is now taking reservations to complete your adventure at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Each Room is designed for 2 adults and rents for $150.00 per night. Overlooking the sprawling Eureka Springs Valley, with beautiful sunrises and magnificent sunsets and the caroling of the Big Cats. There are five unique cabins. Rent one or all five units if available. They are perfect to accommodate small groups if you choose to spend time with friends, family, small business retreats, workshops and wedding parties. Each room has an exceptional personality, along with snugly spa robes, luxurious bedding and linens, coffees and coffee pots, continental breakfast, color TV / DVD player, refrigerators and microwaves and clock radios. For rainy days or after hours, the rooms also have their own collection of favorite games and books. Cast iron fireplaces and air conditioning keeps you comfortable during the changing seasons too. Each room is also furnished with African Drums for those who care to start a drumming! Along with the spacious hot tub, the units share a 40' Octagonal Deck, complete with a charming covered Gazebo and Fire Pit. Tables and chairs surround the area for comfortable relaxing or light dining. These units are intended for adults only due to TCWR's safety policy. The price of your overnight visit includes unlimited access to our main compound during daylight hours for the length of your stay. We also have a small RV Park that can accommodate up to 7 recreational vehicles. Rates are $25.00/night plus regular admission to the Refuge on a daily basis. Or, a Family Membership may be purchased for $50.00, allowing unlimited visits to the Refuge throughout the year.

I love staying here. Especially early in the mornings before the work starts when the animals start talking. Tasty breakfast included. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is huge. Great views everywhere, the power of the animals puts a special feeling in the air.

It was unique and fun. We will definitely stay again. Friendly service and thoughtful touches in accommodations where we lodged. We enjoyed the privacy while being close to activities in Eureka Springs.

We stayed two nights in the Siberian Suite and were not disappointed! The lions caroled throughout the night, which makes the trip perfect. Some people say the price is expensive, but they are a non-profit rescue and all the money goes towards the animals. We love this place and everyone should visit!

My husband and I had such an amazing time here! The lodging cabin was so beautiful! When we first got there, check in was stress free, got our keys and paperwork and headed to our room. The walk to our room was gorgeous, when we entered our room is was very clean, super cold which was nice since it was so hot outside, and the view off the back balcony was stunning! The Art work on the wall, bed, bathroom were all so jaw dropping! 😍 We also got the 'Just be-claws I love you' package which spoiled us with some chocolate covered strawberries, Turpentine Creek glasses, fresh flowers, & nonalcoholic cider. Plus Free complementary breakfast! Loved the comfortable bed, hot tub, short walk down to see the animals at the fence during the evening and early morning. Best stay ever!!! And of course my fav thing, hearing the lions and tigers roaring all night! We would hear them, freeze, and run outside to hear them more clearly. It was so cool, fun, & with a little bit of terror because of how powerfully these animals are! Of we really enjoyed our Tour of the Wildlife Refuge! They take authentic great care of the animals and the tour guides really know their stuff! We will definitely be coming back with the family!

This stay was insanely amazing!! We had the absolute best time with lots of laughs! I love TCWR and will continue to support what they do! The room was beautiful, the setup of it was very interesting and unique, loved being able to sit out on the porch and listen to the lions caroling and visiting with the tigers next door to us who appeared to enjoy interacting with us.

My husband and I brought our two young children to stay in the Siberian Suite and explore the grounds. We had an incredible stay! The room was very nice and had a lot of amenities, and we had great views of two tigers right outside our room window. The tour we went on was very informative, and even though it was hot, we saw quite a few of the animal residents. The highlight of our trip was opening up the room windows at night to hear the animals communicating. We will be making Turpentine Creek a regular family trip from now on.

We stayed in the tree house and the grand girls loved every moment. It is very clean and the loft is perfect for two children. They provided decoration for celebrating a birthday and the snacks and light breakfast were provided as well. The fridge was stocked with fruit, juice, water, muffins, and flavored oatmeal and coffee and tea were provided as well. Please note that admission into the refuge and the tour are included in the treehouse booking price, so it makes it a great deal. Please note, the treehouse is small, which we knew. We did not know that my 6' 5 husband would not be able to fit in the bathroom or shut the bathroom door. There is a public restroom nearby though. The treehouse is feet away from a tiger enclosure and it was awesome to watch them eat at 7:00 a.m. each morning. Please take the tour so you can hear all the wonderful things they do to make the animals comfortable, healthy, and safe.

momandmurray thank you so much for your review. I loved how you were able to turn an uncomfortable situation and make it positive. Our tiny treehouse bathroom is so small so it is challenging for taller individuals. Thank you for offering solutions as well it is so refreshing. Please come see us again.

We arrived rather late and getting in was very intuitive. The unit was exceptionally clean and pleasant. The bathroom curtain left a little to be desired in terms of privacy but that's a small matter. All in all, it was a great stay!

jshawnluther Thank you for taking time to provide a feedback. I am so sorry the curtain was not enough for privacy. The safari lodges are not made from traditional wall materials to provide sliding doors. We do offer traditional bathroom amenities in our Siberian, Bengal suites, and the Treehouse. When you return please give them a try. Thank you for coming out to support our furry friends.

We stayed in the Bengal Suite, everything worked, very clean, and comfortable. We took the 4 PM and 9 AM tram tours. The guide did a great job informing about the facilities, mission, history, and rescue stories of the individual animals. We had toured the Refuge before and wanted to stay overnight to hear the big cats caroling at night. We were not disappointed; the chorus went on and off from sunset to just after dawn. The evening was cool, we had the windows open, but I spent some time on the covered porch in the wee hours enjoying the caroling, the stars and Milky Way in the dark sky. The common porch on the Bengal and Siberian suite overlooks some of the nearby enclosures. We are planning another trip this fall; Eureka Springs is about 7 miles away with numerous restaurants and shopping.

We had an amazing time there. My daughter turned 7 over the weekend and this was a surprise trip for her birthday. She loved staying there and watching the tigers play. We will be returning in the future for another stay. The treehouse was amazing and having 2 tigers next to it was fun for my daughter. We had a blast. We give it 10 🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks The Odom Family 👨‍👩‍👦
