This place is really quaint, beautiful, and the owners are most wonderful!! Our breakfast was very good each morning and the bed was fabulous. Our little balcony was built next to the cliffs and I could actually even touch them. It was decorated really classy and I loved the coffee maker and the little fancy teas and 4 different choices of sweeteners along with real cream in the little fridge for the coffee. The fireplace on the wall was charming and the big jacuzzi tub (or shower if you preferred) was wonderful and lots of hot water and great pressure....highly recommend and I stay at B&B and all over the country lots.....this one is a treasure.

We decided to spend this past Christmas weekend in eureka springs and were really excited to stay at cliff cottage inn. The day before the trip, we received a call that said there would be no hot breakfast for Christmas Eve and day, in order to give the staff time to enjoy the holiday. We would instead receive muffins, orange juice and yogurt. The muffins were store-bought, and not ideal for a Christmas breakfast, so we went to cafes around town. You have to make your own coffee, however given the place was understaffed, the mugs weren’t replaced and there was no soap to wash the cups with. The robes are just terry cloth, like the towels, and kind of uncomfortable. The shower was challenging to get into for me, since I’m pretty short and couldn’t use the curtain rod for support,

This Christmas for Christmas eve and Christmas day itself we decided that breakfast would be limited. These are the only two days that we did not serve breakfast, during the Holidays. We called all of the guests over a week ahead of their reservation, and let them know that this was the situation. We then offered to help them find another reservation if this was not satisfactory, and cancel our reservation free of charge. Each guest, including this reviewer, chose to keep their Christmas reservation even though we were not cooking breakfast on Christmas morning. I am sorry that you chose to visit despite the breakfast of muffins and fresh fruit, and then chose to complain about the very thing you agreed to long before arriving. The day after Christmas we prepared our normal egg casserole, with salsa stuffed tomato, sour cream, avocado, and an English muffin. This meal is extremely popular and has many rave reviews. I am surprised at how this breakfast is described above in your review. The terry cloth robes retail for over $100 each. They are the softest robes you will find. The towels are also high end towels, that are considerably nicer and softer than you can find at a department store. The coffee mug issue is on us. We did not come and pick up and wash your coffee mugs on Christmas morning, instead we asked you to rinse them out and use them again. Our 1 year old enjoyed their first Christmas morning with his parents and grandparents, but we neglected to replace your coffee mugs. We see the error. Justin

Stayed in the Zelda suite for2 nights and it was fabulous. Loved the decor, the little kitchenette, the bathrobes provided and the outdoor hot tub. We did have a little problem adjusting the temperature one day but it was promptly fixed by the staff. Also loved the great tasty breakfasts and the fact that they were flexible about delivery time. It was supposed to be 9:15 am but that is really late for us. They changed it to 8 am and were very prompt. We really appreciated that. Loved the relaxing sitting area with electric fireplace. Would highly recommend.

These are Victorian cottages are conveniently located on a street that runs parallel to Main St., resulting in a quiet stay. There is a convenient stairway between the cottages and the Main St. for best walking access to restaurants and shops. We walked to everything we went to except the Tiger Sanctuary and Quigley House. We stayed in the Alfred room three nights and REALLY enjoyed the private outside shower and enhanced shower in the unit. We also stayed one night in the Emily Dickinson suite. This is a very spacious suite with separate rooms. The living area was decorated as though you were sitting in a luscious garden patio. Both rooms very very tastefully decorated in a theme and had private outdoor eating areas on porch and in back. They had a beautiful wall fireplace

We stayed in the Sarah Bernhardt Suite. It was quite large with a separate living room and bedroom. It was very comfortable and accommodating. The location relative to downtown is excellent with everything being convenient. Breakfast was promptly served at 9:15 AM every morning and was delicious. The accommodations were clean and inviting. The only downside for us was that the road noise could be a little invasive although it did not bother us when sleeping since the bedroom is toward the back of the suite. We would definitely stay here again.

I am going to try to give a nuanced view of this property, as I do think it is the ideal Eureka location for certain travelers. It was not for us. The cottages are well-maintained and charming - we stayed in the Tennyson suite, which was advertised as having an outdoor shower. We decided to use it after a long hike to try and get the mud off of us, and it didn't work. The location is wonderful, if loud - remember, this is Eureka Springs, and being near the main strip is wonderfully convenient, and a bit loud, with the motorcycles. We also found that it was impossible to limit light in the bedroom, which made the 9:15 delivery time for breakfast feel very late, as sleeping in was almost impossible. Finally, while the breakfast was very tasty and delivered with a

We consider ourselves an upscale hotel, and not a luxury hotel like the Four Seasons or the Ritz. We are the nicest hotel in Eureka Springs, but not at the level of the nicest hotel in San Francisco. We are very sorry that the 2nd shower outdoors was not working when you stayed. This must have been during the period of time that the outdoor shower needed repair last Spring. There are 2 motorcycle events per year. It sounds like you stayed during the spring motorcycle event, and it was noisy. We have had this complaint about motorcycle weekends before. For this reason, we now plan to inform all guests that book during one of the motorcycle weekends, so that they can reschedule if they desire. The juice with breakfast is 100% mango and peach juice. The mango and peach combination tastes different than orange juice, so I understand how you could be confused and think it was not juice. We will take a look at the hand soap in the rooms. I know the bar soap is quality, because we spent time researching this, however I am not sure what liquid soap is in the dispensers, and this too should be quality. We paid over $100 per terry cloth robe in order to ensure that our guests had the best available. We also selected higher quality towels than you will find in the department stores. While all of our suites have blinds and curtains to block the sun in the morning, we do leave the blinds and curtains open for our guest's arrival. If these blinds were left open when you went to sleep, then there would be sun shinning in the bedroom when you wake. $300 per night is a high rate for any of our weekend nights in our best suites, though we do sometimes go this high on a Friday or Saturday that is very popular. If the price point is a concern, then I always recommend guests consider booking on a Sunday through Thursday night. On every Sunday through Thursday night the price is discounted by about $100 per night. On a typical weeknight, even our nicer suites can be rented for approximately the $150 a night that this guest would have preferred to spend. Justin

Our stay was in The Emily Dickenson Suite. And how sweet is the suite! Tasteful and functional touches throughout the spacious three rooms. From the small porch with table and two chairs, partially sequestered by bamboo growth, we entered the high ceilinged front room. Warm colors, lots of Windows, soft music from the Alexa-commanded Echo, a better than average faux fireplace (heat optional) and some stained glass interior windows all catch the eye immediately. The Chaise couch is a nice touch, too. My favorite touch was the plate with 5 assorted homemade cookies, wrapped and ready to enjoy. All were delicious, and none made it past the first night. The King bedroom is very roomy. We have stayed in a number of B&Bs smaller than this room alone. 4 poster bed, chairs,

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Henry David Thoreau suite. It was beautiful. We especially loved drinking our coffee on the balcony and the breakfast. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The balcony was very small, but it was beautiful and next to the beautiful rocks. The bathroom was outdated, and while clean seemed dirty due to the age. The jacuzzi tub is very large and very comfy. The bed and linens in the room are fantastically comfortable. The cottage is within walking distance from downtown (about 10 minutes to the farthest part of downtown) which made it very fun! Highly recommend.

We loved staying in the lovely Emily Dickinson suite. The bedroom is large and the bed is very comfortable. The sitting area/living room in the front was perfect to sit and have breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. The bathroom was immense. I think they took one bedroom and turned it into a bathroom with very large garden tub/shower. Because of the pandemic, breakfast was left on a little table outside the door. Fresh towels were placed in bags and left there, too. No one entered the room until we left. Walking through the little neighborhood in the evening was nice. Beautiful homes, lightening bugs everywhere. Even saw a deer. Right outside the door are the steps down to the street. Everything within walking distance. Many places were closed, but we found

My daughter and I stayed her on a whim and absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere was very true to the Eureka Springs town. The home is unique being that it juts right up to the cliff and if you take the tram tour you will find out this home was ordered straight out of the catalogue from either sears or J.C. Penney’s... can’t remember. The host was very kind. We will be back :)
