Took my partner here for her 60th bday. Stayed 3/11-3/14 and had the very best time! Rob and Brenda were the best hosts…5 stars in every aspect of our stay. The beautiful room with the patio, Lucious bedding, towels and fridge stocked with pop are just a few details they didn’t miss. Thank you and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway in Eureka Springs, and Doug and Beverly were incredible hosts -- from the local area knowledge they provided to the outstanding gourmet breakfasts they served, we highly recommend booking your stay with them. In addition, their location at the edge of town is a perfect blend of a short walk into town yet nestled into a quiet hillside surrounded by chirping birds and area wildlife. We even had the opportunity to see a deer and a fox playfully chase one another during one of our walks back from the town center.

One of the must stay places in Eureka Springs! The owners are the most gracious hosts it reminds you of coming home to mom and dads house. The rooms are all themed and the amenities are many, huge showers, jetted tubs, king size beds with luxury mattresses, and always freshly made cookies for snacking! Then of course there are the breakfasts, or should I say the morning gourmet feasts prepared with your favorite morning beverage; each day is unique and delicious. For our money, we don’t think you will find a finer experience when visiting Eureka Springs!

We spent three wonderful days in and around Eureka Springs. Our stay was made more special with Doug and Beverly as our hosts at their Arsenic and Old Lace Bed and Breakfast. The setting of the inn is what make B&B stays very pleasant. The room are all beautifully decorated, quiet, peaceful; and the breakfasts each morning could not have been more delicious and well presented.

Breakfast provided each morning was very good. Many other outdoor venues in this area were closed. The room was presented much bigger online than it was in reality. We stayed in the library room way too small and the Jacuzzi tub is 16 inches from our king size bed bedding was very worn and not up to what we expected for $200 a night

We wish these guests had mentioned their issues while they were visiting. We would have been happy to work with them to resolve their concerns or worked to find them other accommodations. A few details about the Library Room. The carpet was replaced in March 2020 as was the mini-split HVAC unit. The room is about 268 Sg Ft (222 sq ft in the room and 46 sq ft in the bathroom). The jetted tub which is in the room is over 18 inches from the bed. As a 6 foot tall 265 pound male I can easily walk between the tub and the bed. We worked with our photographers and web designers to ensure that the website accurately presents the rooms. Our guests have commented that the rooms are better than the photographs. While some of the outdoor venues were closed in November we offer a welcome guide on our website, in the confirmation e-mail and follow-up emails, and a hard copy in each room (that is sanitized between guests) which has links and phone numbers to the various area attractions to assist guests in planning their trips. We do appreciate the feedback but wish it had been provided when we would have had the opportunity to make the guest's stay more pleasant.

Jim and I were looking for a unique, high-quality bed and breakfast to escape to and enjoy 4 days away from home. Arsenic and Old Lace exceeded that expectation! Beverly and Doug were excellent hosts; their breakfasts were outstanding, and they were extremely conscientious in adhering to Covid cleaning procedures. Most importantly our Tree Top Suite was so picturesque and comfortable that we loved spending almost every minute of our vacation relaxing in our room. We nightly recommend Arsenic and Old Lace.

The room was very comfortable and relaxing, with a dynamic and high-powered shower, a bathtub (fits about one person), comfortable bed, nice outdoor lighting and view openness, and TV. The hosts were very hospitable, and breakfast was an enjoyable time. The outdoor patio area and downstairs areas are accommodating and relaxing.

Nestled in a corner of Hillside Avenue in Victorian adorned Eureka Springs, Arkansas is a delightful Bed and Breakfast Inn lovingly run by Doug and Beverly. We had not been to Eureka—-though Arkansas residents—-for a longtime. Our mission was a weekend getaway and this B and B perfectly delivered. Our room though a bit small was comfortable and had a balcony that provided a wooded view above us and a terrific spot to watch the many squirrels, birds and chipmunks that our hosts also take care of. We also saw several deer close enough to almost touch. Doug and Beverly make sure you get breakfast and it touches at the gourmet level with elegant presentation. When you arrive Doug goes out of his way to make sure you have all the information you need to take advantage of the things to see and do in Eureka which has many excellent restaurants and unique shopping. In the evening there are always homemade cookies to. munch on and a large hot tub to relax in—-in your room. You will also enjoy talking to Doug and Beverly who like to interact with their guests. Eureka is a very scenic set in the beautiful Ozark Mountains so you will enjoy the ride on 23 up and back. We had a great time and will be back.

12/10! This B&B was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were very accommodating to a later check in time and a plant based diet. The food was great and this B&B truly made the long weekend to Eureka Springs special. Thank you again!

Having read so many glowing reviews, we booked a two night stay at Arsenic and Old Lace to explore Eureka Springs, and we're so glad we did! From the close, ample parking to the welcoming front porch to the quaint rooms, everything was wonderful. Rob and Brenda are perfect hosts, providing a delicious, home cooked breakfast each morning and freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. They were so helpful answering questions about the area and providing recommendations, but they were also very respectful of guests' privacy. Our idyllic stay ended with the sight of a family of deer passing by the kitchen window. Thank you Rob and Brenda - we will definitely be back!
