My girlfriend and I stayed in the Mayor's Office for several nights, and we had an amazing, magical time. Upon entering, we were greeted with rose petals, romantic music, Champaign, and champaign flutes to drink from.

The bedroom is hidden, which was a nice nod to the magic of the Harry Potter world--bringing it simply from being decoration into something so much more.

It is quiet and peaceful, and there are screens to block off the porch for more privacy.

This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway for Harry Potter fans!

We loved this place! We booked #7 which was the "Ultimate Mystic Cottage". This place was fantastic. It had everything we wanted. A hidden room behind a fake wall that looked like a bookcase, had a 2 person sauna and a 2 person Jetted tub! This place had a TV in the living area, the bedroom, and the room with the tub and sauna. My wife loved the Anniversary Arrival package and everything was set up when we arrived. We cant say enough good things about our stay it was well worth it. Recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

The little cottages in the town are Harry Potter themed and really cute.
We stayed in the Dorothy's pie cottage. Walked in and everything was so pretty with my favorite color of purple. and owls everywhere, I absolutely love owls.. It was a though the room was decorated just for me. The bedroom was behind the mirror and the headboard had a Congratulations banner across it. We took a walk and in the window display on the pie shop was a welcome sign with my name on it and a wedding cake.

My husband and I stayed at the Hogsveil cabins for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Our say was simply perfect! Our cabin, the hat shop, was tucked in a little gated village. The entrance to our cabin was in the back, facing the woods so all we see through the glass door was nature (including some young deer that were almost close enough to pet!). There were nice accordion blinds so you could close in the porch at night for privacy. There was even a sauna on the porch! The cabin was perfectly decorated in Harry Potter decor. We were greeted with soft music and a sweet note. The house keeping was great! The hot tub in the main living area was spacious and had a tv in view. We will definitely be visiting Hogsveil again in the future. We highly recommend.

We went for our 30th anniversary and felt warmly welcomed even without seeing a person (social distancing), because our cottage had a personalized welcome sign, fun decorations for our anniversary, and a little gift basket.. It was a beautiful cottage. Very fun decor. And so so quiet. We will definitely return to Hogsveil Cottages.

1. There are about seven stand alone cottages all with a Harry Potter theme.
2. The owners are very thoughtful and have seemingly thought of everything.
3. It is a place for couples, not kids. One parking spot for each cottage.
4. There is a tub for two in the middle of the living area.
5. The shower is nice. So too is the small sauna on the deck.
6. WiFi wasn’t very reliable.
7. They do have a set of dishes, microwave, and small fridge. We had to get ice from a convenience store. There is one ice tray, but it wasn’t enough.
8. Great TVs, great fireplace in the bedroom.
9. Could use an upgrade on quality of toilet paper and tissue.
10. King size bed is nice.

We were looking to stay someplace with character and this fit the bill. The rooms look like the photos. It is a little odd that the jacuzzi is in the living area but you can watch tv while relaxing in it. We had fun finding the door to our bedroom when we arrived. The bed was very comfy and the bedroom was sound proof. I couldn't hear the tv when in bed. There is also a tv & electric fireplace in the bedroom. We never used it but would be nice on cooler days.
I loved the deck that looked out on the wilderness. One day we had 2 fawns wandering around. Check in & check out was an easy and efficient process. The one thing I have to complain about is the lack of efficient lighting to put on my makeup. But, I managed. I was afterall on vacation so makeup wasn't critical. It was a very pleasant and relaxing place to geat away.

So cool how there is a hidden room me and my wife loved the stay. Only suggestion I would would be to use bigger shower heads and a sliding door that closes while in the shower. Other than that this place was amazing, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary here afyer 8 great years togetherand we wouldn't have wanted to go any other place. It is truly a great experience. We will definitely be back.

How often do you find a place that makes you feel like a child in a magical place? The girlfriend and I were in search of a place to stay so we could get away and we happened to come across this place.
The grounds are nicely setup. Just be watchful where you drive. It is a bit tight in places, but nothing bad. The woodland creatures that have called that area home come up close and are not shy.
Now for the room… it was beautiful and the greeting card and name written on the little display outside was a fantastic touch. The snack basket was a great touch. We felt so welcomed. The cottage itself is perfect size. Not huge but, nowhere near small. The bed was fine and bathroom and the hot tub was fantastic. I would recommend this for any couple. Though the threshold to the bedroom isn’t friendly to those who may have mobility issues, I won’t hold that against the place. It wasn’t an issue for us. We did lounge around the room a lot and it never seemed to get old. This place is perfect! The owners were available if need be and super nice. Check-in was a breeze and simple. This place itself is close to town and far enough out to avoid a lot of the traffic. When we decide to go back to Eureka Springs again… we will be staying here and I would recommend it to everyone.

Thank you Hogsveil for providing a wonderful cottage for a short stay in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. From arrival to checkout we really enjoyed our stay. The pre check-in directions and check out directions were spot on and were perfect during Covid19. Our cottage was decorated with a Harry Potter-esque whimsical theme. The room was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this place and will consider visiting again. Thanks

What does the "Hickory Hollow" cabin look like?
Answer from KelWil86
Springfield, Missouri30 contributions7 helpful votes
Two bedroom cottage. Has two separate rooms each with full bathroom. King size bed. Common room between bedrooms has couch, love seat, rocking chair, dining table and chairs. There is also a mini fridge, micro, sink and coffee maker. Limited kitchen items for cooking not really any pots or pans. But a really nice and clean place. Secluded but close to town. Deer come by the outside of the cabin almost nightly. Comfy beds and the owners are wonderful people!
