Oak crest cottages and treehouses is the most adorable place. We stayed in the Mountain Chateau #9. It was beautiful! The bed was so comfortable that we slept like babies every night. The outlay of the suite was perfect and cozy. We loved the trees with lights in the room. Everything worked perfectly and everything was supplied, coffee, glassware, towels ( there even is a fabulous towel warmer), etc. We loved our time there that we’ll definitely book there again when visiting our son which was within walking distance. Thank you Matt and Chris!!!

My husband and I stayed here and had a wonderful stay! The cottage was darling and the room very cozy. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful!!
The owners checked up on us via text to make sure everything was good and I really appreciated that.
We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at the treehouse. Clean rooms, cozy and romantic. Cake and champagne on the table when we arrived for our anniversary! Even decorations. Would recommend. The deck was tucked in the trees and made for a peaceful setting.

No matter the price listed, you will be charged a "Property fee" upon booking with NO explanation as to what it is for. Seems like just a way to raise the rental fee.
Wifi stinks! Goes in and out. Out most of the time.
Cottage is a 2 star place. The gas fireplace heater was kinda cool. Jacuzzi tub was nice but kept shutting off. Maybe on a timer? We never used the TV or the AC unit. Half the love seat & ottoman was used for my suitcase. Hubby's on floor. Linoleum floor looked like tile. Had a small wrought iron table with 2 very hard wrought chairs with no cushions. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker.
The bathroom is small & light over sink was burned out. Tough to put on make up with just 1 small overhead light. Got housekeeping to replace next morning. Lucky we caught them cuz no front desk people we could find the day we checked in. Just a code for lock box. And they do say no front desk. Odd.
The shower is impossibly small, like one in a small travel trailer. If you are large, you won't be able to turn around.
The queen bed is something your grandma or great grandma owned. Brass headboard you can't prop up against. Has old fashioned inner spring mattress on inner spring foundation. It bounces a little. Not totally uncomfortable. Could hear and feel springs give and take. We had cottage #6.
We would never, ever stay here again.

We were switched from cottage 4 to cottage 6 because the blinds were missing on door of 4 and there was no privacy. Also the tv didn’t work in 4 but my husband fixed it. We were moved to cottage 6. It was okay. The fireplace (gas) was a nice effect. However the next morning we found out the shower had no hot water. Staff had to come out to fix it. The sashes on two of the windows were broken so on a warmer day in January, a fluke, we could not open windows. We had to open the door. The mattress was lumpy and we both got lower backaches from sleeping on it. Overall: nice ambiance but the place really needs updating and work. We will not stay here again.

When we arrived the room had excellent presentation. There was music playing, beautiful lighting and even a gift snack basket. They hung a "happy anniversary" banner for us. We were absolutely thrilled at the quality and beauty of our stay. We would definitely recommend and we will be staying again.

The cottage was in a great location. But there are a few bad things to share...the shower is way too tiny. The Ac unit worked whenever it wanted to. Bed was hard as a rock. Yes But good area and Staff.

My husband and I went to stay in the treehouse here for our 20 th wedding Anniversary. We were so pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and secluded they were. It was beautiful inside and out. Back deck to have coffee in the morning a kind note and treat basket to welcome us. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. I would recommend it to everyone I know. Very clean and up to date. Loved our stay and will go back! Thank you!

We arrived at the office to check in after a 6 hour drive at 7:00 pm. I sat in a chair while the couple in front of me was checking in and the owner was telling stories to them about how he bends over backwards to help his guests. I was thinking this is good because I have a small request. The trip was suppose to consist of my wife & I but at the last minute we had to bring our 14 year old daughter. (Not that I minded). When I explained this to the owner, he informed me I should have called to cancel. I explained that she would be no problem and she could sleep on a couch or even the floor if necessary. He said no. I would have to find her somewhere else to stay. "This is a place for romance". When I told him I couldn't do that he said "well I guess you won't be staying here", and handed me my credit card. So, here we are. Tired, hungry and no place to stay.
We ate and began our search. From there we drove over to Sherwood Court. The only cabins they had left were made for what? Romance....... But, the owners of this place said, "Do you think one of these will work?" I said yes!!! For the rest of our trip, the owners of Sherwood Court made sure we were comfortable and lacked for nothing.
Thanks to Roger for taking a bad trip and making it one of our best.

Initially, our thought was to sidestep the clicheed kitsch of the ubiquitous Victorian-cutesy hotels and B/Bs in Eureka Springs. The Treehouse Cottages of the Oak Crest group seemed ideal. And so ours was, in some ways: our Treehouse was not far from town, had a nice woodsy setting, with a rear terrace overlooking a ravine, a fireplace, and a comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom, whirlpool tub, two televisions (which we didn't use except for late-night news, but I mention this for others.) BUT. The owner was a bit brusque, there were not enough towels (and nobody ever seemed to be in the office to provide more) and the "kitchenette" only had a microwave, so no means of preparing even a simple scrambled egg. Again: no really serious complaints, but I think next time we'd stay in the town itself rather than down the road. Had the price been 20% less, I'd have given it higher marks as a good value, though.

Do you have laundry facilities ?
Answer from Dawn H
Anaheim, California
Their are a lot of stairs leading down to the treehouses at Oak Crest, so I wouldn't stay in those treehouses. I would recommend our other location Eureka Springs Treehouses . Over at that location Central Park & Paris treehouses would be the best. Then Venice and Santa Fe just have a few. Ultimate Venice and Ultimate Santa Fe have a ton of steps so I would avoid those.
