I had a good stay. This the old Joy Motel, redone very well. If you like to walk, it is 15 minutes to historic area and a 1/4 - 1/2 mile walk to Bubbas BBQ. Room was clean and comfortable enough. The mattress was quite good. Lower-rate rooms are not completely updated, still having "mid century modern" motor court bathrooms--a kitchy throwback. Busy bar and grill onsite with big deck. Spent better part of evening sitting by a firepit listening to live music from the bar deck.
This bar is small but great place to hang on a drizzling Sunday afternoon! The live music was amazing! There was a nice bartender that keep us with beverages. Very interesting mediteraian appetizers and flatbread pizzas. Would definitely come back!
I stayed here for a friends wedding and I’m so glad I did! It’s really centrally located to anywhere you need to go. I stayed in one of the king bed rooms and the bed was surprisingly comfy. Most times with mattresses in hotels/motels, they are “meh” at best, but this one I actually slept very well on. The restaurant on sight is also really good. We stopped there one day before an adventure we were going on, and loved it so much that we went back a few times. The beer choices are also on point. I had a hersheys yeungling and it was so good. I’m still craving it. Is there some work that still needs to be done? Yes. But for what it is now, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will be going back in the future the next time we visit Eureka Springs.
This place has the absolute cutest, most incredible vibe. The renovations are well done with style and function. The bed is THE BEST. The staff is incredible, cleaning protocol is on point. You have a front and rear entrance with a porch and table and chairs. Awesome walk in shower (make sure you book a renovated room for that feature) the restaurant and bar are awesome, live music and lots of deck space. We checked in, had drinks and food and never had to leave the premises. We can’t wait to come back in summer for the pool and the river outfitter services! The meat and cheese tray we ordered was so good we didn’t even need to order entrees! Also, there’s a 4 usb charging port in the room by the bed, that was a bonus!! Cannot recommend enough. LOVE.💗💗
The Wanderoo Lodge is a quaint throwback to the 50s & 60s vibe. Great location for exploring Eureka Springs. From reading reviews about the Wonderoo, I was impressed that they were being updated and refreshed, however, we did not get one of those rooms. The room was showing its years and was in need of a redo, although it was clean and about what I expected for the price. The bed was a Vortex 3000 model, as soon as you laid down, you were sucked into the middle unless you held on tight to the edge. We were greeted each morning by the sunlight shining thru the gaps in the door along with cold air. The small faux fireplace did however provide ample heat and ambiance, it was much appreciated. Since our stay was during the week of Thanksgiving, I didn't expect much service and I wasn't surprised. I'm not slamming the establishment, in fact it was exactly what I expected for a bargain price. Clean bathroom, clean linens just needing updates on everything else. Although we heard great things about the bar and restaurant, we were hesitant to check it out due to large crowds and no masks or social distancing. It's a shame because it looked like a cool place with live music and good food. I would stay again, if nothing else was available or if I was on a budget weekend for a bike ride.…
