When we drove through the gate, we knew we were going to love it there. Grounds were well taken care of, peaceful, and secluded. When we opened the door to our treehouse, soft music was playing and the tree was lit up. A welcoming note and snacks were on the table. We had an abundance of towels, coffee, pillows, there was a blanket to use while sitting on the back porch -- every detail was covered. The room was clean - extremely clean. Owners are very proud and it shows. Trust me, this review comes from a very picky person!

Found this gem last second. Only thing left was #20 Magical Castle. Surprised my wife by celebrating becoming empty nesters after 32 years of marriage. Bought the Honeymoon/Special Occasion Package. Staff went above and beyond to help. We arrived and then left for dinner. Staff came in the room and really placed rose petals and candles with exceptional detail around the bed, leading to the secret door, up the staircase, around the hot tub. This place exceeded expectations in every way. Right to our morning coffee on the deck watching sunrise and a doe nibbling her way through the woods. Extra thank you to Georgiana and Kristan for their help!

Our first time stay in Eureka Springs was just awesome and staying in a tree house at Eureka Springs Treehouses made it even more memorable. Prior to our arrival I had a few questions and they were quick to answer. We celebrated our 10th anniversary and purchased the anniversary surprise package and it did not disappoint. They had some champagne, a cake, a few little snacks, and a bath soap/lotion set for us and the room was decorated very cute. The houses are in a gated area and they are nice and spacious. Express check- in was easy and they provided lots of information on how to request additional supplies and check out. They also gave some suggestions on places to eat (EVERY place we ate at was AMAZING). I highly recommend Eurka Spring Treehouses. I plan to stay in a cave next time!

My husband and I travel 3 or 4 times a year. Our preference is usually a historic hotel such as the Hermitage or Peabody. We have stayed at luxury resorts throughout the Caribbean also. So when I say that this was my absolute favorite lodging, it is a great compliment!! We stayed at the castle for a 3 day Eureka Springs trip. The grounds are well maintained and very peaceful. Upon entering the castle, you are transported to a magical setting. Music is playing, a welcome basket awaits and the view is stunning. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We quickly found the hidden passage which led to an huge shower and the stairs that lead up to the spa tub. The tower was my favorite. I have never used a spa tub in any other resort because they never looked clean enough to me. I may be picky. Not so here!! Each night, we lit the fire, lit a candle and enjoyed the tub. It was lovely. This speaks to the high level of cleanliness. You can choose to have your room cleaned daily if you like. If not, they will not enter. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept great! It is only a short trip to downtown Eureka Springs, maybe a 5 minute drive. I am a smoker so I spent quite a bit of time on the balcony. It was nice because you are secluded, so I never felt as if my smoking was infringing on someone else's space. This place is just perfect. I don't think I can ever settle for another hotel room!

My husband and I chose the treehouse castle for our 1-year anniversary weekend trip. I booked one of the anniversary packages and it was WELL worth the extra money - they set up the surprise perfectly timed regardless of our late check-in. The cake, engraved flutes, and champagne were the cherry on top of quick responses, excellent service, and a very comfortable and completely unique room! We are so grateful we chose the castle that felt like we were completely in nature even though we were still only minutes from Eureka's main strip and attractions. We look very forward to returning next year and possibly trying out one of the hobbit caves. Thank you Eureka Springs Treehouses, Caves, Castles & Hobbit houses for all the extra little goodies and a phenomenal stay!!

It was amazing and the attention to detail of the staff was even better. Music playing when we arrived a gift basket, surprise hidden entry, board games with a detailed note, cards, movies, clean and definetly sanitized (smelled good and freshly cleaned). Had everything we needed. There is no place like this one and it is one of a kind we will be going back and trying the hobbit rooms next. Well worth the money and time. The surrounding area was great as well but the stay at the castle tree house was the best.

Well, this was a first experience staying in a treehouse! It was a great experience. The place was so clean and it is so quiet. Each treehouse , castle, cave, is an individual place to stay so no noises from the next door room. Our treehouse was the #2 Central Park Treehouse and it had a tree with twinkling light in the middle of the room. The host left a basket with chips , nuts , cookies and some candy for us along with a couple awesome movies. The bed was great, kind of a medium firm mattress--best sleep for both nights! Easy check-in, lots of directions, recommendations and help. If we are ever in the Eureka Springs area again, this would be a MUST book again place! THANK you for making this a great stay!!! Well done!

Walking into our room was like walking into our own magical, secret hideaway. The lighting and trees above the jacuzzi and bed are absolutely perfect and makes you want to stay in all day. We purchased the romance package and it was absolutely worth every bit of expense! They went above and beyond to make our anniversary perfect and memorable. This is the perfect place for a quick romantic getaway and the absolute best place to stay in Eureka Springs.

We stayed at the Hogsveil cottages and enjoyed our experience immensely!! We loved the many personal touches from the Happy Birthday banner and handwritten card to the chalkboard welcome sign in the front bay window.

The cabins are arranged so that you feel like you are the only people on the property. We utilized the back deck and sauna with complete privacy. We also liked the feeling of security that comes with the gated entrance.

The large, jetted tub and walk in shower were perfectly romantic and the finishes were very nice.

If you ever just wanted to get away as a couple this is the place to go. From the check in to the check out. it feels like no place else on Earth my husband and I picked the cave option for our anniversary. They had the Champagne and Cake ready when we arrived in the cave everything was so nicely done for us. The tub was the first thing you see upon entering. Then go around another corner and you have a huge bathroom with a beautiful double shower. Once you get to the end of the hallway it opens up into the bedroom sitting area with a wall full of windows overlooking the wilderness. We had deer come visit everyday while we were there. The town is a tourist town so very quiet when we went out not very crowded at all we were able to get in and out of places very easily.

Agree with the other recommendations. Best bet is to call their office. Very nice and informative and at this late of a date best bet would be a cancellation. The tree houses are a couple of miles from downtown and the office is the same only the opposite direction. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. Good luck at getting a tree house.

Is it too cold to visit in February? What is there to do then?
Answer from EStrip
It is cold during February, really no outdoor sporting things going on like hiking, canoes etc. During the winter about 1/2 of the stores and restaurants are open in town. I would recommend going to the city site to see events etc that are going on when you are looking to come as well as things to do.
