I had been given a 2 night + gourmet dinner voucher by my girlfriend and used it at the Chateau just after Christmas and found it to be a very pleasant place to stay. The staff were extremely helpful and cooked a delicious vegetarian meal for my gf, even though they were not given much notice. The room and bed...

We had a great welcome, really friendly lady showed us to our room and let us put bikes inside an out building, always a relief. The room was clean but tired, the bathroom was large as was the room, but the bathroom was honestly last updated early 80's at least, or the decorator had an amazing sense of humour, or...

Fabulous setting and buildings. Good value too. Had no problem with the breakfast (as other reviewers have.) Of course it has faded and is not city chic. But that's part of its charm. And I guess that's what it comes down to. If you prefer great but faded furnishings to characterless modernity this is the place for you. If you...

If you do not take the breakfast you will not be dissapointed. We could not get a baguette, we could not get a croissant. The selection of cheese was very poor, meat selection not available. One smelly cushion. Despit beeing advertised Wifi is not available in the superior room no.5 A very nice setting in a well maintained garden. The...

Having found the place, which was not an easy task, the first impressions on approaching the Chateau were very good. However, the greeting was less than welcoming, a brusque old lady gave us the key to a room in the stable block, which at first we were surprised at as we had thought we had booked a room in the...

We arrived here thinking it was not the same chateau as said in the reviews. When we entered Mrs. Delisle greeted us. Very formal handed us the key and showed us our room. We didn't take the breakfast 11 euro's for a croissant and a boiled egg is a bit steap. The rooms need refurbishing, they look 16th century but...

The location is great if you had family involved in the battle of St Lo. However, remember St Lo was bombed to oblivion and the building since has made it an ugly city compared to the other lovely towns around the area. And also realize that St Lo has some of the worst French food you will ever eat..........I find...

This stay left me with mixed feelings. I had booked various accommodation on this trip from modern hotels to gites and this one was our stay in a French Chateau. We finished up staying in what seemed to be a converted barn rather than the actual chateau. Madam said she put us there because the rooms were larger and it...

Stayed for a week and found it to be the perfect location for our trip visiting the historical sites of Normandy, including the d-day beaches and battle of Normandy sites. It was also very close to Mont Sant Michel. The hotel itself is a lovely mansion house in a quiet rural setting. The room itself was comfortable and felt very...

Chateau de la Roq Hebecrevon We stayed at this chateau three nights, along with other members of our tour group. It is fun to stay at such a beautiful historic building. My husband and I had a Room 27, one of the rooms above the huge old stone stables. Our room was very comfortable and the furnishings were pretty in...
