We had a great welcome, really friendly lady showed us to our room and let us put bikes inside an out building, always a relief. Fabulous setting and buildings. Good value too. Had no problem with the breakfast (as other reviewers have.) Of course it has faded and is not city chic. But that's part of its charm. If you do not take the breakfast you will not be dissapointed. We could not get a baguette, we could not get a croissant. The selection of cheese was very poor, meat selection not available. We arrived here thinking it was not the same chateau as said in the reviews. When we entered Mrs. Delisle greeted us. Very formal handed us the key and showed us our room. The location is great if you had family involved in the battle of St Lo. However, remember St Lo was bombed to oblivion and the building since has made it an ugly city compared to the other lovely towns around the area. Surprisingly easy to find and only an 8 minutes drive from the centre of Saint Lo. A beautiful house with really traditional interior.
