We booked to stay here for one night on our way home and booked a table in the restaurant. Our room (no 6) was right at the top of the building (no lifts). Although it was small it was perfectly adequate for a one-night stay. The bathroom was compact to say the least and there was not much room between... More

We used the hotel as a stop-over en-route to the Loire Valley. The rooms are ok; some have renovated bathrooms, but the whole establishment needs a makeover. But, if you're just going to spend a night it should be fine. Restaurant is recommendable with a very nice price/quality menu and a fine wine-list.

This restaurant was recommended by our hosts at a nearby B & B. We opted to sit on the terrace overlooking the old mill wheels. It was very attractive with nice umbrellas and flowers. The amuse bouches were tasty and the 25 euro 3 course menus good value.

This hotel and restaurant have been created in a building that was originally a paper mill (with other types of mills having been located on or near the site since the Middle Ages) and the old water wheels make a pleasant backdrop to the terrace dining area. The inside dining area is lovely and includes the large gearing from the... More

We did not stay here, we discovered this place while driving from Arbois back to Paris to pick up a flight back to the States. It was that time of day when the world closes down for the time between lunch and dinner. The way the day had gone we were hungry and looking for someplace that was open and... More

We won't come back. Not sure how that place managed to be ranked as three stars. While the building and the site are nice, from the staircase on, place quickly gets quite crappy. I really would need a major renovation. (I believe some cosmetic refresh may have been performed some time ago in the rooms, but it does not really... More

We were recommended this Auberge to go and eat by our host. Food wise we were not disappointed. We went all out and had the top menu. Food was cooked to perfection, the right amount and served at a reasonable pace, we were not rushed or left wondering what was happening. The let down was the wine. Pretty highly priced... More

A delightfully situated hôtel in an old water mill on the outskirts of a small town: there are attractive gardens, soothing sounds from the water, and a warm welcome from the owners. The bedrooms are modern, comfortable and well appointed. The dining-room has much character, betokening the building's history; and in fine weather al fresco eating, overlooking the old water-wheels... More

We looked for a hotel between champagne and chablis, and found this to be a match, looked good on the webpage, but went there on chance to get a room. The whole building is a old mill with streaming water around it, big garden and a porch. The room was very spacious and carefully designed. quiet area on the edge... More
