Old tavern dating back to the 1600's - lots of wood panelling in the rooms, crooked doors and very steep stairs up to the rooms. Rooms are very unique, you won't experience rooms like this in many places. Clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom wasn't an issue, only saw one other guest there in the hallway. Very good price for... More

....and I landed in Weis Strue! Crooked doors, steep, narrow stairs, wooden panelled walls and ceilings. This is a place that the adventurers and those looking for something a bit different will enjoy staying in. The shared bathroom was not as much of an issue that I thought it may have been although it may have been more so if... More

A very old tavern with cheap and simple rooms upstairs, and with very steep stairs! However with great charm. We stayed in the "Panel Room" beautifully decorated with old painted panels. The beds unfortunately rather bad, toilet and shower in the corridor. The tavern at ground floor was also interesting, good food although no gourmet style. The interesting thing is... More

From the outside Weis Stue looks like a fascinating, charming old building. However, inside once you are upstairs it is dark and musty. Like some other reviewers, I have to say that I thought the charm of the rooms probably ceased some time ago. Our room was dark, the lights were dim, there was no grouting around the sink tiles,... This restaurant is really cute and is actually an historic building, worth seeing. The food is good - we all had traditional Danish food and we were all satisfied by our meal. I hesitated between 2 and 3, but the service was so arrogant that I decided to go with a 2. At the end of the day, going to... More

Spent two nights with our family in July. Nice atmosphere, clean room, good food (although a bit too pricy in our opinion and slow service). Not the best place to stay with a 3-year-old and a baby because of the steep steps but there was a gate to prevent them from falling down. Also slow Wi-fi. But all in all... More

A nice hotel, good beds, nice people. It's the oldest building of the city, from around 1600, partly still original. It's a special experience to stay there. For some people there can be 1 'but', it is not possible to park your car near the hotel, you have to park it a litllebit outside the city, so you have to... More

I am sorry to say this is the worst accommodation we experienced during our six weeks in Scandinavia. We booked a twin room for two nights but only stayed one night. The beds were so rickety and uncomfortable that my son slept on the floor. The bedding was musty and the room very stuffy. Having only one bathroom was a... More

The hotel was built in 1600 and not much have been changed since. The beds are really good and it is fantastic with the oak floor and the lovely paintings in the cealing. Eight rooms share three toilets and one shower. Very clean and in the absolute center of this lovely little city, that began to be built in 710.

Arrived here at Weis Stue. Staff all friendly and efficient. Hotel is over 400 years old so if you are looking for all modern rooms, go elsewhere. This hotel is charming with its tiny steep stairs, its uneven and squeeky floors. Interior is original and so cosy. We loved our stay here except for 1 small thing which isn't the... More
