Pro: All yo need for a skying holidays, nice staff, close to the slopes and bars. Negative: Old hotel, small spa but is allright. Should have a bigger restaurant, got a big queue sometimes. Would go back anyway
We were three in a room and thank you to Bowla and Victoria for fixing the problems we had. You were excellent indeed all the staff in the hotel were just so friendly and helpful. The spa area was small but a great place to relax.. The only downside was the restaurant sometimes had a queue for meals and we never knew what the menu was for the day, The food is mainly buffet style -a good variety -and there is a cook in the morning who does omelettes and eggs and a cook in the evening who does extra fish and meet dishes. The food was very good . We would come back again. Thank you all.
it is a comfortable hotel with rather small rooms - but excellent beds ! Friendly staff and a bar to sit and relax in. We never used the spa (cost extra and was crowded when I looked) . The breakfast has everything you need for a breakfast and the dinner was well prepared. Its a buffe, but with good varity over the week including 1-2 dishes prepared on spot. Negative is that it is some noice; you hear your neighbours walking on the floor , coughing etc. Not loud, but not silent either. Outside noice from the street are blocked by good windows; just to close the window. Good situated for skiing, when it is a very short walk to the sloops, just a 100 m or so.
Stayed here as a group of 6 in January 2020. 4 of us in a Family Room (x4 separate beds) and 2 in a Twin room (x2 separate beds). Cant fault the hotel at all, everything was excellent. Rooms: Rooms with up to x4 separate beds, all spacious, some with balconies. Comfortable beds, rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Location: 5min walk to the chairlift, lift pass office, most bars and restaurants. Short walk from any transfer drop-off point, which will mostly likely be the bottom of a small hill. We had no problems with noise either inside the hotel or outside (from bars etc.) HOWEVER you are in Pas de la Casa, which is notoriously not a sleepy ski village, if you don't want the risk of being woken up in the early hours don't stay in the resort - people drink here even if you don't... Ski Lockers: 10Euro deposit required but you get this back as long as you give the key back. All lockers are on the basement floor accessible via lift and they lead out of a back entrance slightly closer to the lifts. Never too busy. Sauna: 4Euro per person per evening (open 4pm-8pm). Quite small but was never that busy - Sauna (x4 people), Steam Room (x4 people) & Jacuzzi (x4 people) - towels available for free. Breakfast: Excellent selection of food and drink for breakfast (continental, cooked, pancakes etc.), We only queued on one day for a table even then it was fine. Only improvement could be a better fruit selection. Staff: All excellent and very helpful. Price: Very reasonable for the quality, shop around and use a cashback website when you book.…
Booked through Neilson we had requested a superior room only to be told a couple of weeks before departure that we had been downgraded to a standard room. The standard rooms are small and basic, with a very small window, but they are functional and very clean. The walls are fairly thin, so the noise of people in the corridor and babies crying in adjacent rooms are noticeable. Kettles are not supplied in the room - although reception did find us one so we could make a proper cuppa. The bar area was spacious and although beer was expensive, the house wine was reasonably priced and of reasonable quality. The Rioja is nicer though. Coffee is reasonable too - I’m quite fussy here so my reasonable is praise. We booked half board and found the food quite good - there was sufficient variety to provide something for everyone. The restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful and made our stay really pleasurable. If I returned to Andorra I would go back to Hotel Magic, for the excellent service provided by the staff rather than the room.…
