We are a couple from Holland, for the first time in Guatemala. This place was the perfect place to visit; to enjoy the nature around the lake and have some luxury at the same time. This resort is personal and unique, because of it's architecture, the staff and the location up the hills. We where lucky to be the only... More

This hotel is very memorable. It's unobstructed views are breathtaking and the architectural design is far from typical. I think the owner Luciano lives on the property and his love for the exotic and eclectic style is reflected throughout the hotel. His bungalows are an extension of his home with nautilus shaped structures surrounded by lush flora. Since Guatemala is... More

I went with my husband to celebrate our 2 year anniversary, and we had an awesome time. Stayed for 2 nights. Getting to the hotel is a little bit complicated, depending on the car, because it is a big hill to get to the lobby. If your car can't get up, they had a parking place and staff come and... More

AMAZING views of the lake!!!! Nice pool and hot tub - no shade though :/ Suite with kitchen was spacious. A few critters (spiders and a scorpion), but we were in Guatemala and the doors / windows were left open. Staff was polite and spoke some English. Food was great!!! The steep incline up to the resort was a fun... More

If you want to enjoy the best views of Lake Atitlan you can't miss Tzampoc. Angela's cuisine won't deceive you either, especially pasta (lasagna & gnocci are the best in the lake and probably in Guatemala) and fish. Luciano, the owner, will make you feel at home. He also designed this wonderful place. Breakfasts are great. It's definitely a must... More

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful weekend here and it is hard to find the words to describe the incredible beauty of this unique spot overlooking Lake Atitlan. The rooms were comfortable, the pool spectacular and our host was delightful. All in all I heartily recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway.

The hotel is situated at a beautiful spot, but urgently needs maintanance. We paid GTQ 1300 for a room with shared bathroom, full with dust, humidity and beds of concrete. The high humidity and dust made us sneeze all night. The shower curtain was fixed with electric wires. This rooms was really not worth more than GtQ 200. Food and... More

After not seeing each other for a week, I decided this hotel would be a great spot for my boyfriend and me to see each other again as a starting point for our quick 8 day trip through Guatemala and Honduras. I was enticed by the though of a sunset view from pool, the pictures of the lake out the... More

Very bad hotel for nights of silence ! Barking excessively ! Constant barking is a nuisance to their guests. it's impossible to sleep with owner's dogs. And this hotel is dirty and the owner is not very accessible.

The place is simply gorgeous. The gardens are meticulously taken care of. And the views of the lake underneath are sublime. Its owner, Lucio Mamberto, will do everything he can to make you feel at home. You feel being treated like a personal guest. This is a place for people who enjoy staying at a place with a personal touch,... More
