Hotel Nuestro Sueno is a real find! The waterfront location is the perfect place to relax, but it's the people that make it special. Richard, the hotel's loquacious and accommodating owner, leads a great staff that meets their guests every need with a smile. The beds are comfortable and the food is incredibly well done (serve by the ever-smiling Nikki!).... More

Stayed for 3 nights during our journey I'm Guatemala. This place is far from everything which for us at the time was highly appreciated. The food was very good and Richard, the owner, and his family were very nice and helpful. Be advised though, there is nothing else in this town, if you take it as an advantage or disadvantage... We stayed at Hotel Nuestro Sueno for 3 nights and had an amazing time. The hotel is right on the lake of which our room had an amazing view. We had a fireplace and a great stone bathroom. The hotel is built around a tree and the mountain so it's a very cool structure to explore. The staff is very... More

Located in a small village just south of Panajachel, there is no attack of tourists vendors. As the Hotel sits on the lake-side, there is no traffic rumbling by. I found it to be a very friendly setting, and certainly felt like part of this wonderful family. They have a great cook, so I did not have to go far... More

This place is great. My girlfriend and I stayed there for 2 nights in December, and we will absolutely return. The owner Richard ("Don Ricardo") is worth the price of your stay alone. He is a thoroughly engaging American ex-pat with stories for days. Make sure you try the Cafe Ricardo. The staff was very friendly and eager to help.... More

We are happy to have stayed here. We were treated well and had a nice conversations with Rick the owner. Everyone is really humble and courtious. We opted for the B&B and it was a great value for money. It was so relaxing that we did not want to go back on the third day.

It takes around 20 minutes by car to drive to the hotel by Panajachel, but when you arrive you feel rewarded! It's a small village, with a calm Bay and kids playing in the water. The hotel is held by a nice American guy who will love to entertain you with stories or suggestions for your visit of Lake atitlan.... More

I highly recommend staying at this amazing, magical place. We had planned to stay 3 days at lake Atitlan on our overland trip from Mexico to Panama, but upon arrival and viewing the hotel, its amenities and our room, we quickly decided to stay at least 6 days as we were astonished at the quality we were getting for the...
