Nice clean comfortable place to stay... maybe you like staying in the back of the building as I stayed in one of the rooms on the street with a balcony and got woke up about 1:00 a.m. motorcycles and cars Zooming up and down the blvd... heavens knows why? Excruciating Noise...... otherwise everything was/is Hokey Dory........

SO many good things to say about this hotel. Its affordable, super clean, nice environment, close to everything in San Isidro, great restaurant but the most important part is they have the nicest people that will make everything to make your stay excellent. We went to the mountain Chirripo and stayed at some hotels around and it was so bad,...

We stayed here the night before and after our Cerro Chirripo trek and I would highly recommend it to other travellers. It's excellent value for money and very clean. Yes it's not the most glamorous place but the room we had with a shared bathroom was light and clean and had plenty of space. It is in a great location...

Stopped in here for breakfast due to it being one of the very few places open on a Sunday. The options were limited, but very good! I tried the huevos rancheros.. When it came it looked like soup and I was a bit scared, but I'm glad I tried them! They were delicious!!

Pros: good location: in front of the Parc and the famous church + 3 minutes walk to the bus station. Fans in the room. Cons: dirty walls in our bedroom (big juicy stain right next to my face... Kind of hard to miss, which made me wonder how much they check the rooms before they give you the keys....) lights...

This hotel is recommended highly on Lonely Planet and I can see why. It is low cost ($30/night), and super clean. They clean every morning whether you ask for a cleaning or not. The rooms are in good shape, and the fan -- thanks for the fan! It is pretty basic -- no chair in my room, but the cleanliness...

One night with shared bath was c13500 on December 30 2014. This is a large hotel -- hard to imagine it ever filling up. Rooms are quite small but clean with a comfortable bed, a fan, a small tv, and a view of the mountains. There is some peeling paint (consistent with this price range). Very close to buses, market,...

No frills, but good location (as long as you don't mind church bells early in the morning). Stayed here the evening of the Christmas tree lighting. Was nice to be right across from the town square with a great view of the fireworks. Room was comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great service, always kind and helpful. Complimentary coffee at the front desk. Quaint room but it's ok when traveling. The restaurant is super tasty, great service too. The casado is great and you can choose between tortilla or bread. Coffee is delicious

The hotel is clean. Great location if you travel through and need a simple, clean and cheap place to stay for a night or get some supplies before spending some time in the mountains. All bus terminals are in walking distance.
