Patan (Lalitpur), Nepal

I find a hotel very spacious & pleasant. All the staffs are friendly & dedicated and thanks for their great hospitality. The thing I like the most about the hotel was the accommodation and services. With stay in this hotel made me easy to visit different historical places of Patan area. Hotel tries to pull out the handicrafts and cultural...

It felt safe, close to tourist places. Some rooms that do not get direct sunshine - smell moldy. It is old style, rooms are small. But it was pleasant, food was decent to good. They have a banquet room so when there is an event, it gets overcrowded and noisy

Goodwill hotel can be considered as an average hotel with basic amenities and infrastructure. The staff is quick and helpful. Food is good but there is not much variety for vegetarians. Rooms are nicely spacious to accommodate two persons. Taxis can be arranged on request.

I can't recommend this hotel if you are a foreigner unless you want an hotel with a swimming pool. It's expensive for what you will get (compared to what can be found in Thamel) and there is no much choice of restaurants around. Bathroom are small and bed cover was very dirty. They don't have a power generator to power...

Let me please preface by saying this was my first visit to Nepal, and I didn't stay anywhere else, so I have absolutely no basis for comparison. The hotel is moderately nice on the outside, especially compared to the surroundings. Inside, the rooms are acceptable and spacious. In the bathroom, it takes about 10-15 minutes for the cold water to...

I recently stayed at the Hotel Goodwill and found it to be very adequate, and the staff were exceptional! This was my first experience traveling in a developing nation so while there was a little "oh, ok..." moment but I really can't complain. First of all, there is no heat (which is standard) so if you are travelling in the...

I came to Nepal for business trip, and not so many choice for hotels in Patan. I picked this one because of the location is near to the office. Some of the taxi drivers may not know this hotel. So, you may need to mentioned about near "Mahaboudha Patan" temple. Less than 1 km, you can go for Durbar (Central)...

I had to stay in the Hotel Goodwill for almost a month as I arrived in Nepal to be part of the earthquake emergency response team for an international organisation. Of course this is most likely not the reason that you would be looking for a Hotel in Kathmandu, but whatever your reason I would recommend that you consider Hotel...

This building withstood the earthquakes; while there are a few cracks none are structural. We stayed there for several weeks and were really well looked after by a fantastic team. It became like home! Always ready to help, good food, close to the beauty of central Patan... fully recommended!
