Beautiful hotel, immaculately clean with lovely friendly staff. Really near to Patan Durbar Square and the Golden Temple and lots of traditional little shops. It is a bit difficult to find so make sure you have the hotel telephone number and a map for a taxi driver.
From the very first NAMASTE to the final wave goodbye, I felt so welcomed to become friends with the staff. Front counter staff - kind, assisting, informative, friendly, welcoming. The housekeepers - rarely seen but rooms were always cleaned and refreshed. The waitress - always smiling and welcoming and quick to handle my food/drink requests. The cook - seen, smiled, not heard, but always available to prepare food. The night security guard - visible in his safety vest, always a hello and greeting as he walked past, and attentive to make sure all in order. The manager - provided helpful tourist information, ensured I was comfortable, treated me as a friend The location for being in heart of Lalitpur is super, but for me, it was the staff that made my first 7 days stay so special, followed by another overnight stay.…
This hotel was a great place to start our tour. Situated in a quiet side alley in picturesque Patan, it is a small, boutique place which is modern and clean, but most of all, has extremely friendly and helpful staff. I ended up arriving late at night and the reception manager even kindly made me some Momos himself as I had not eaten since lunchtime and the chef had gone home. Rooms were comfortable and clean with warm showers and amenities provided. Most of all though, the staff were excellent. Thoroughly recommended.
Having stayed 2 nights at the lovely and nicely decorated hotel in a quiet sidestreet close to Durbar Square, I felt somehow "at home". All the staff was more than caring, friendly and helpful making me feel welcome and safe!
After 6 years of living in Nepal we were preparing to leave Nepal. We needed a place to transition. Traditional Stay was perfect, and we were there for three weeks. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The manager, front of staff, Chefs and all other staff, were absolutely fantastic. They were accomodating to our needs, they even put on a special wedding anniversary meal. They made sure our stay was warm, friendly and tried to meet our every need. The chefs are enthusiastic and dedicated to good wholesome food, and one of the meals showcased a fusion of authentic nepali food with a western presentation. We left feeling that we had left behind some of 'our family'. A wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Arrived at this Hotel in February 2020.Where I was truly greeted by some amazing receptionist staff. This hotel is relatively new and it showed this, with its freshness, all mod cons with its exceptional staff. The manager Rajesh was most helpful and did not mind doing things a little different than others, which was helpful to me. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and my room was one of the best that I had ever stayed in. Its location was absolutely the world's best. You are a two minute walk from Patan, where I was given a free entrance pass to the beautiful sights of Patan, courtesy of the Traditional Stay Hotel, with my stay here. The very best goes to the staff, who assist this modern hotel to meet the comforts of this guest .... Thank you.
This was a fantastic hotel for a great price! Very close to the Golden Temple and Patan Durbur Square. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel! Clean and modern facilities and very friendly staff. You’ll love it!
My overall experience at this hotel was wonderful. From the rooms being so tidy, clean and organised to the staff, who are so helpful and friendly. Always felt so welcome coming in the hotel. Location is good, walking distance to the square. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family!
We had a great stay at the tradional stay hotel in patan. The stuff is really friendly and helpfull they gave us good advice how to Explore patan and Kathmandu. The rooms are New, Nice and clean . The only Bad Thing is that every time you shower you going to flood the bathroom. :) If there are many people in the hotel the stuff might be slow at breakfast or Dinner time. But still we would highly recommend the hotel.
The hotel is located in the center of Patan near Kathmandu. The Path Durbar Square is just a few meters away. The personnel is very amicable, the service is excellent. The restaurant serves typical Nepalese food as well as Western dishes, cocktails and alcohol-free drinks, all very delicious. Rooms are modern, clean and with a beautiful charm. I felt very comfortable and appreciated.
