A lovely respite from the grind of KTM. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was clean and refreshing. Food was excellent. Room was large and clean. Accommodating service. Easy access on local shuttle that also takes you to the botanical gardens. Good value for the rate. We will return.
Located quite close to the city but far from the pollution and disturbance, Godavari Village Resort is a peaceful and beautiful place to be in for those who want to escape the pollution and noise of the city. The damage it has endured from the earthquake is visible with the demolishment of the beautiful restaurant and meeting hall, but the team has been able to maintain its beauty by doing there level best in ensuring quality service to the customer. This place definitely needs more support from its customer who used to visit the place in the past. More business to this beautiful property will definitely help the community and the staff members. The hills around the resort, the pool at the bottom and the pure air, what can one expect for more? As a past customer, I would like to…
This used to be one of the best resort in/around Kathmandu valley for many years. After the earthquake in 2015, it was closed for over 2 years to maintain. Now it was recently reopened and I stayed there for 4 nights for a international training. However bit disappointed with the cleanliness and poor service - still not well maintained. It still looked like a deserted place probably due to long shut down. In room internet, TV, phone, AC etc were not working properly and it was hard to get one to come and fix it. They need quite a lot of attention to improve sleep quality by removing/changing everything from the room right from furnitures to bed, linen, curtains etc as it was smelly. However the food was truly good and staff tried to cooperate as much as possible. Recheck before…
This sprawling resort covers several acres of a fairly steep hillside. There are lots and lots of stairs, so it's not accessible, especially the restaurant, which is at the bottom of the property. They are still recovering from the earthquake damage, but it seems that the buildings have been pretty much restored. It's really peaceful there, although with so many groups coming for one thing or another, there could be noise from other guests. It's not so far up in the hills, but enough to be away from the pollution.
Terrible dinner and breakfast.Room was very bad and slippery bathroom .We were in a group and they didn't provided as they promise. Food was very bad and provide key of another room which was already assigned to another guest .The another guest was very angry when we tried to open the room. No privacy in the room and anyone can open room from outside. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone .
