There is some construction nearby, but we didn't hear any sounds from it. You cannot see Everest from the hotel - what you see is the range of Himalayas in the distance. On a clear early morning, you should be able to see an ascending range of hills, mountains and then the Himalayas in the far background. An impressive sight! If you want t see Everest, then you should take one of the Everest mountain flights from Kathmandu.

One can see the panorama of the Himalayas ranging from the Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchanjunga in the east including Mt Everest ( you will see Mt Everest only as a dot on the horizon but with a binocular you can have a good view of it ) . The other ranges you will see are the Langtang, Dorje Lakpa and the Gaurishankar ranges .The sunrise and sunset on the Himalayas seen from this hill could be a life time memory for you.
