Room 8/10- clean room but lacking some toiletries like cotton buds. Room design is for 3 paxs but omplimentary soap provided is 1.
Amenities: well maintained
Pool: not recommended for children 3 years old and below because the kiddie pool is 4 to 5ft
Food: price is just right.
Overall rating: 8/10

Our stay was quite pleasant, staff are polite, the overall ambience of the resort is really great, good swimming pool and a rocky beach you can swim. Their restaurant serves good food, it's a bit pricey but no complain as the food taste great. One downside is that when you're unlucky and there are just a few guests checked-in then the pool and restaurant close early. The restaurant close at 8pm, though 8pm is reasonable enough to order your evening food and snacks. But the pool close at 7pm and it is a deal breaker for me. I mean, they are operating a resort and the pool close at 7pm?! What am I gonna do after the pool and restaurant close? 8pm seems to be still early but sadly there's no more activity left in this resort after 8pm.

First rooms that have been provided to us have bad odor, line have stains, our daughters room beds have stains too.

Preferred breakfast have been requested from us early, but served late in the morning. No manager has approached us during our stay and even at time weve checked out, as regular this customer service standard is important to us which we did not experience considering the price is a little bit high.

The rest of the services are excellent though.

the view from the reception area is breathtaking! Checking in was smooth and we were accompanied to our rooms. We stayed at the bayfront rooms which are the best ones to stay in because aside from having the best view of the serene and blue waters (not to mention the stunning sunset), the rooms are far from the crowd so it offers more privacy.
The room is just right for 2 persons. Clear full length glass windows are a plus to give you a better view of the beauty outside. For a bit of privacy, the rooms are provided with black out curtains. there's a small table and 2 chairs just outside your room that functions as a balcony where you can sip your coffee or even have your breakfast there. Cabanas are available all over the place which can be used for your dining or lounging needs. The bathroom is not welldesigned though. The toilet seat is too close to the bathroom door. the toilet area gets wet and soaked when you take a bath or shower. Not to mention that the water from the faucet is kinda salty so the soap doesnt make a foam and it stings when you wash your sunburnt face. as one patron suggested, use mineral water as a final rinse.
drinking water is free, just ask from the restaurant and they'll give you a pitcher.
breakfast is buffet style on sundays. on other days, it was plated. probably depends on the number of guests booked. breakfast is good, with an omelet station and free flowing coffee, tea, milo. you can even have breakfast anywhere in the resort.
as for lunch and dinner, you have to order from the restaurant. no bringing in of food aside from snacks and chips. Their food is delicious and good for 2-3 persons. We didnt order the pizza coz it was priced at P1100! They also have alcoholic drinks, priced like in Manila restaurants.
service is impeccable. very polite staff and very responsive.
the best for me was the view especially at sunset. anywhere you sit in the resort, you get a stunning view. The best spot for me for the sunset is by the seating area just above the waters in the breakfast buffet area.
they said the place was expensive. but its worth it.

Upon checking in, it was fast. You just need to present your ID, vaccination card, pay the balance if there are any, pay the security deposit and you're good to go. We were escorted by the staff and we rode on a golf cart going to our room. We stayed in Bayfront view rooms. It was near the free diving/kayaking spot, it was really easy to go to the pool, as well as go to the bay if you want to go free diving. On our first day we went to the infinity pool. It was an okay experience, not too crowded. We tried the 15 ft. pool. This is where you can practice free diving. A staff was kind enough to give us some pointers when free diving. During dinner, we had to order food. There are a lot to choose from, at first we thought that it was a bit pricey, but then when we got our orders we knew the reason for the price. Food is great and served with great quantity. The rooms are okay, everything we needed were there. Water is a bit lacking since you only get 2 small bottles, but you can ask for service water. It's free! We had no problems sleeping whatsoever. The next day we had our breakfast buffet, as i've mentioned the food is great! We went kayaking after we ate. You just need to tell the staff that you want to go kayaking and they will immediately help you setup your gear and kayak. After kayaking we rented snorkels and went free diving. I'm safe to say we enjoyed our experience here. The place is peaceful, the staff are friendly, food is great. Overall experience was great, will be coming back to this place again.

Dont ever go to this resort everything is not worth your money very late check in time 3pm and need to be checked out at 12pm late check out will be charge like half of your room price even if its 1hr. Room was like a “MOTEL” shower is very weak the bath tub faucet is broken the bath tub itself is disgusting. Food was pretty bad no taste at all even the ice cream has no taste serving time was very long aswell. Overall the money you spend in this resort will be worth like staying a week in a very nice place in Anilao that has far better rooms and food.

PS spent P78,000 for an overnight stay with 3 rooms i dont mind spending that much but it has to count and this one aint got what it takes to be called resort its more of a MOTEL!!! With a pool by the sea

10/10 for the ambiance of the resort. Non-divers will surely enjoy the resort's amenities. Offering breathtaking views of the bay and the lush greenery that surrounds it. The resort's facilities are equally impressive. The infinity pool is the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun.

8/10 for the accommodations. Simply spectacular. From the cozy and comfortable rooms to the spacious and luxurious villas, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. From the moment you step into your room, you'll be struck by the soft and comfortable beds that are sure to provide a restful night's sleep. Whether you're traveling solo or with a group, the spacious and well-appointed rooms are designed with your comfort in mind.

9/10 for the excellent customer service. what really sets Anilao Awari Bay Resort apart is the incredible attention to detail that the staff puts into everything they do. From the moment you arrive, you'll be treated like royalty, with personalized service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

RECON: I highly recommend staying in the rooms near the pool and bayfront area.

It was our first time staying at awari bay. Chose it cause of their pools so I can bring my kids and dive at the same time. View is really breathtaking. The resort is very picturesque. However, I find their rates very expensive for the room you will be getting. The bathroom where we stayed is not kept well. The faucet was so hard to open and close. The shower in the room was not very well designed and their restaurant menu is way overpriced! The dive pool too was not maintained very well, the sides of the pool were already full of moss. We asked if they have cotton buds, they didn't have. The only reason we enjoyed the stay was because we booked a freediving session with ocean limits.

You can enjoy the beaches of Batangas without spending too much for the accommodation. Realized that a bit late, I’ve done poor research. Food is expensive, you have no choice but to buy from them coz bringing food from outside is a no go. We were served with plated breakfast not buffet. CR is below standard considering the price I paid for. They have friendly and accommodating staffs. They offer free use of kayak however, you can’t enjoy swimming on the sea due to unfriendly rocks on it. The pool is enticing.

The place is indeed beautiful, with breathtaking view. The service was excellent and staff were all friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the family room. My only issue was that prices of some food (especially the pizza - spinach pizza was Pesos 1,200 and a simple Hawaiian pizza was Pesos 990) were so over the top and not worth it. Otherwise, food, though simple fare, was flavorful.
