Pre trip: Liaised with Cienna for a 7D6N trip without specifying which resort; They have 2 resorts, the new one at Secret Bay (remember to specify if you're particular!). I got the original resort but no regrets whatsoever, more on that later. Do note you'll have to make a 50% deposit. I made mine through the bank and absorbed the...

First of all, there are 2 Halo resorts. I stayed in the new one in Secret Bay. Food and Room were fine. Hotel Staff was nice and attentive to you. However, let's talk about what I was for: DIVING. The DMs have a major fundamental diving issue. They broke coral with macro lives on every dive the whole time (5...

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL EVEN TO PEOPLE I DO NOT LIKE! For such highly priced rooms, the MANAGEMENT OF THIS HOTEL IS CHEAP! We were assigned to a room with a leaking AC - leaking in the inside which caused a bit of a flood in the room. They cleaned it up, put buckets and towels on the floor...

Having dived in a lot of spots in the recent years, it came as a surprise to me and my fellow diving peers that our stay in Halo was beyond our expectation. To be honest, it was much more that what we anticipated: from the pleasant architecture, the well maintenance and especially the friendly crews. In short, Halo was a...

The rooms are large - we had a room facing the pool (the first one that you come to when you walk down the stairs), and there were two queen size beds inside with space for us to walk around. Mind you, this was the standard room, not a luxury room or anything of that sort. There's a table and...

A high-end version of the existing Halo Dive Resort also in Mabini, this newly constructed structure has 18 fully furnished, en suite, air-conditioned rooms for its initial phase. More rooms, I heard, will be added on its second stage. Something to watch out for in the next coming years. Location is quite strategic as Secret Bay is not affected by...

I have stayed on rooms at all levels at this resort but I would say that the ones fronting the swimming pool are the best. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. proactive in attending to the needs of the guest. Dive packages are reasonable, and equally proportional to the experience. Hunger pangs at dawn should bring food because the...

We stayed here for six nights, specifically for underwater macro photography. Rooms: Our rooms were very comfortable and fitted two double beds. These beds were about the most comfortable I've ever slept on, with two generous comfortable pillows! The linens were a little worn, but very clean. The bathroom was not huge, but big enough, clean and well maintained. There...

Stayed for 3 days. Service is good but could use a more personal and genuinely friendly touch. Food is decent. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Decent house reef. Heard the waters are really bad during typhoon season so you might want to double check with the resort if you plan to go diving from June to Feb. No private...

Halo Anilao Dive Resort has two locations in Anilao; we were booked from 24-28 Mar 2016 at the older of the two, which is situated at Barangay Ligaya. From its unprepossessing roadside entrance, the resort slopes down to the sea and first-time guests will be delighted by how it opens into a vista of prettily whitewashed buildings on three sides...
