We decided to visit the White River Inn at the last minute and are so glad we came. The proprietors, Moose and Tina, run a very professional operation that also manages to make you feel like family. The lodge and its views are spectacular, the rooms were spotless, and the food was terrific. Our day on the White River was perfect — thanks to our guides everyone in my family caught a boatload of trout. Spending the evening enjoying a cold beverage and the picturesque view was truly special. We’ll be back!

I am writing this review on the way back home and already miss being at The White River Inn! Moose and Tina are the most endearing couple who will take excellent care of all your needs and will make you feel at home. They arranged our worry-free 2 day fishing trips guided by Jason. Jason attended to all of our needs on while fly fishing and we caught dozens upon dozens of rainbow trout with some browns in there. If things got slow in one spot he was quick to get us to another good fishing hole. He was so much fun to be around and kept us on fish the whole day. The lodge and the rooms are beautiful and so very well appointed. We were provided with all the creature comforts of home. The beds were most comfortable allowing us to feel well rested after our long days fishing! The home cooked meals are delicious!!!! You couldn’t find better quality and tasty food to fill you up each day. This hidden gem on the white river is not to be overlooked if you want a pampering yet exciting fishing trip easily within driving distance of neighboring states! The fishing here is great all year round. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Tina and Mouse for giving us the opportunity to come up and celebrate a most memorable 20th Anniversary!

This was my second visit to The White River Inn and the hospitality of Moose and Tina. The first time, I hung out with my best friend and her female relatives and loved staying in the Inn and enjoying the excellent food, comfort and warmth of the accommodations. Moose and Tina provide lots of information for possible things to do in the area. This time, it was ALL about the fishing....3 wonderful days...n the 2nd day I got my Grand Slam within a 2 hour period!!...and also caught 2 Golden Trout!! Moose made sure we had excellent guides and assured all of the details were taken care of. And, the food was again awesome!! There is no accommodation that beats the pleasure and quality of staying at The White River Inn.

This was my second trip to the WRI. I brought my girlfriend for the first time this trip and proposed to her on their beautiful patio overlooking the river 300 feet below. The accommodations and fly fishing were first class as always and Moose and Tina make it all the more special. My girlfriend (now fiancé) caught 2 rainbows over 20’ the first day which also happened to be her first day fly fishing on a river! Amazing place.
