Very poor landscape maintenance- weeds growing in RV sites. Pool furniture was falling apart and not nearly enough loungers. Pool and hot tubs were not maintained properly- scum and foam in tubs, pool needed cleaning. Pool was not very warm at all. Poor communications regarding events- times, cost and location...had to scour Facebook site for info- simple email chain would work. Very disappointed in what appeared to be an 'upscale' RV park and what they charge
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there in February and March. As first time “snowbirds “ we felt very welcome by everyone we met. Fun activities, great concerts, dances, pool parties and much more. Great gym, pool and work outs geared for the 55+. Looking forward to our stay there next year .
well designed beautiful RV Park with excellent facilities and space to move about. This a nd the ownership park Country Roads are the very best in the Yuma Area. Facilities include multiple pools, outdoor sports, indoor concert hall, vast entertainment schedule and even an annual car show. Just add a grocery store and you would never need to leave.
OK, so I did not have to pay to stay at the Palms as I stayed with a family member who owns a home there. But my vacation was fabulous and I cannot wait to go back. They have every amenity one could possibly hope for, including TWO dog park areas, a gigantic heated pool, top notch billiard tables, tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce pits... it just goes on and on. We saw a terrific music show in the ballroom preceded by the best shrimp boil I could have imagined. Everything is sparkling clean and tidy with lots of trees and well groomed gardens. There is nothing that is not well-done here!
This is a very nice park. It is green and spotless. The sites are very large and we liked that they are arranged on an angle so not only easy to back in but you have much nicer views out your windows. Great cable TV and 50/30/20 amp electric etc. Sites were pretty sharp gravel but all had nice concrete slab to put tables on. The pools are very nice if a bit cool in Nov. I call the refreshing rather than lounging pools. Excellent quality shuffleboard area and very welcoming people to help new comers. The happy hour at the Cabana was great with 2 beers for $4 and you can buy tickets for $3.50 at the activities office so they are $1.75 from 2:00 to 5:00. Nice deal. The food at the Cabana was also good (the shrimp Quesadilla was the best I have ever had!) We were here for Thanksgiving and enjoyed a no cost turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The park cooked 27 turkeys and provided the gravy and each table of 20 had potluck on sides. They were all yummy. Everyone seemed very friendly. Good laundry even had change available and dedicated machines for pets. There is a very nice and well stocked library and computer room. Sadly they require you to provide your own paper for the printer. That would be ok if staying a month or more but it was a hassle for us. Why not 5 stars? Well the cool pool and although they do provide WiFi it is so slow unless you are near the office that it is unusable (.01mb) I never encountered anybody staff or guests who were not friendly and open. …
