We spent an almost perfect night here while on a road trip. We were so comfortable, and felt pampered. This hotel has been lovingly restored. The public areas are so beautiful. The trains rumble by at all hours. The staff is amazingly friendly & helpful. I hope to stay here again. Loud AC unit in room was absolutely my only... More

A memorable experience. Dinner at the Turquoise Room will go down as one of the best dinners ever. The staff at the hotel went beyond expectations, the room was spotlessly clean, and the dinner amazed us. Hard to believe that a small town has a hotel and restaurant that should not be missed.

Self guided tour of LaPosoda hotel and restaurant. Seemed very nice. I thought staff could have been more helpful, rather stand offish for being a tourist attraction. The place was clean and lots of natural light. It is regarded as a historic site.

We stayed at La Posada because we enjoy historic hotels. This one does not disappoint. The rooms had a ton of character and comfort. The staff was friendly, outgoing and made our stay fabulous. I was concerned that the trains (six tracks within a few feet of the hotel) would be noisy. We never noticed them. I suppose that it... More

Aside from Standin’ on the Corner Park, there is little to do or see in Winslow AZ on a Sunday night. Unless you happen to be staying at La Posada. It is one of the most unique hotels we’ve ever visited. Once almost demolished, it has been lovingly restored to a fully functioning hotel. It’s difficult to say what is... More

A rare find in a "Route 66" town : an original, Santa Fe-Fred Harvey hotel restored to its original grandeur! Although the towns nothing special, the hotel is certainly worth a nights stay. Almost abandoned by its previous owners, the AT&SF, a small group of recent college grads took it upon themselves to meticulously restore this property. Older style rooms... More

This hotel misses with its present layout, namely forcing traffic into the gift shop. I would love to experience this hotel with a more pure historic sense. Its just not there. I was pleased that the trains were almost inaudible from room 209. My family enjoyed the grounds and watching the trains too. This hotel provides a nice stay.

We have been coming to La Posada since 2005. Go here every year on our anniversary and every other chance we get. Each room is different and full of character. We love to meander around the lobby and book store and gift shop to see what's been added since our last visit. An added attraction is Tia Mion's art gallery... More

We have known of this hotel since its rejuvenation in 1997. This was our chance. Do not pass this by if only have time for lunch, stop! If you stay do so. What time warp. Return to the 1930's or 40's but with all the modern conveniences. Dine in their fabulous Turquoise Room; have a drink in the club car... More
